This week, my RM opened another account for Wealth.
I already have a preferred banking account with ICICI. My requirement was to upgrade my Debit card, on my request she said it's better to upgrade my account to Wealth. To upgrade the existing account. she asked me to fund my account above 25L or I can open another account with just 10L. All the details phone, email, and address will be the same. Once the wealth account is opened I can close the old account or that too might be upgraded if I keep it.
Today, I received the user ID via email but can't generate the password. I am waiting for the welcome KIT. will update here how it goes.

Rather after sometime.. maybe 6 months or 1 year you can decide if you want to close the old one or new one!!🤣🤣
Once your account is upgraded to Wealth then none of your account will degraded!!

My rm agreed with a cheque of 10000
How can I upgrade to Wealth Select? Dont say 1cr+ RV 😛
+1, I too want to know , please share your opnion in this regard.. having WM account for the last one year with 25 lakhs NRV and 2 CCs with 6.4 l limit...
the website says 3 cr nrv
but my rm just made me sign a form and voila got converted
after this only i was eligible for wealth select debit card

Thanks for the info and I am still 75 l short in this case. I will try to get that sorted first before I attempt...
i would suggest keep pestering wealth customer care daily until you get one competant person who can upgrade your debit card

why just the debit card?
is there no other difference between wealth management and wealth select?
they nerfed their wealth select benefits
first they used to give emralde ltf hyaatt membership and this debit card
and for their premium cc like emralde customer care doesnt have the authority to approve it as ltf

I requested for Visa assuming hat I'll get Infinite. I asked if I can Infinite. They said it is available to 25 lkh nrv select customers.
True.It depends on RM in terms of waiving or supporting your requests.
RMS are waste. Validated for hdfc bank, yes bank, axis bank, icici bank, idfc bank, indusind bank.
Correct. They are mostly fresh graduates trying to understand the relationship between the bank and customers for their own career growth and playing a kitchen hand role in assisting BMs. No offence. It looks like their roles were designed like that..
