Agent applied and said "It will be LTF" , But after approval when called CC , they said it's FYF and they are not converting it to LTF , even after explaining everything that I was promised for LTF by agent.
So I closed Tata neu card after using for few days.

I heard they do it very easily for others, probably you could have used it for a few months and take a decision of closing near the renewal time (around July-August '24). Can you please share what you told them on the call, I was also planning to apply this and take LTF via the CC route.

Most likely yes, I guess no harm in keeping for 10-11 months and then decide accordingly

Either you should have waited for LTF offer or activate it now & ask for LTF conversion before first year completion,if they don't oblige,you van cancel,you might find many options aftrr 10months.
