Best credit card for income tax payment

Don't use HDFC portal, jab mene ye transation kri thi tb mujhe kotak gateway ka pata ni tha, ispe jo MCC code hai vo income tax payment ka hai (9311). Only use kotak portal gateway for getting 1% cashback on amazon icici credit card, then pay through hdfc platinum debit card - 1% cashback (Jio pay, sbi unipay, canara setu, airtel).

What about Kotak White for real cashback of 0.7% of 27000 on 12 lakhs tax payment ? (1.575% return)
bhai ye tbhi fayda hai jab hum minimum 2 lac touch krenge, till this amount is spent, they don't provide reward points. So yes if someone has large amount of tax to be paid then it is more beneficial then using amazon icici credit card. 2 lac pe 2000 hai. 1% hi milega smaller denomination pe.
Dusra nuksaan ye hai jo statement me lenge benefit hum kotak white statement me, usko utilise karne ke liye fir se kotak white use karna padega, aur kotak white jab se mere pas hai count krke 2 transaction kre hain mene bs usse zinda rakhne ke liye.

Even I was interested in this, but of late heard that it is not getting approved to many.
abhi to RBI ka hi grahan laga hua hai kotak bank pe bhai. Grahan hatega tab try krenge. I willl try for higher variant than this. Let's hope for the best.
HDFC Biz black is better for Tax payments of more than 7.5L per year. Then card becomes practically free also due to spend related fee waiver

Iirc it can be only applied for by non salaried (business or self employed) persons..
bhai kotak gateway pe ab decline ho raha hai payment. Likha aata hai recipient bank has declined. Merchant to same hai Tin 2.0.
But when i tried sbi gateway, payment through UPI, payment went through. merchant shown in screen was Tin 2. SBItin@sbi. But card ke statement me it is showing SB-MOPS.

Don't know. It's been quite some time since I paid, things might have changed.
One more update for Tin 2.0 merchant, kotak gateway, amazon icici cc, it showing 0 reward points in ICICI app for advance tax payment. Date is 21.08.2024.

ICICI Amazon pay card gives zero cashback for any tax payment.
Loss is 0.85% + GST almost 1.003%

This is new for me...I thought Amazon Apay can be used everywhere for 1% cashback...
Bhai issi thread me someone informed that kotak gateway pe Amazon icici de rha hai cashback tbhi to try Kara mene. Net 1% jab bill bharenge to no profit no loss jo jayega. But this is a bummer. Fir to bs wealth and legend chalega ab to.
Bhai yesterday I paid using the same route u told. Nahi mile rewards as 1% amazon balance. MCC is 9311.
