Banks have put restrictions. On hdfc website infinia lounge access list also seems pale infront of this visa generic 74 list. As you rightly said someone who has tried can only confirm

Same for every card. At the end of the day its entirely 'lounge' decision to accept that card or not. Just because its in list, lounge no need to allow. Faced this multiple times and applies all banks &/ cards.

Do you have rupay select cc domestic lounge list? Is it as extensive as 74 lounges of visa?

But also note that RuPay tieup with priority pass in India to accept all priority pass lounges in India.

One more thing, Diners Club in India uses RuPay lounge access.

Many people keep saying in the comments here in technofino that Diners Club has the largest lounge access in India. But Diners Club doesn’t have a direct tie-up; it uses RuPay lounge access.

However, only super/ultra premium cards have access to all RuPay-priority pass lounges.

Elysian Lounge Pune list is not mentioned here - https://www.rupay.co.in/lounges

but It says here that it will accept it. I think only super/ultra-premium RuPay cards will be accepted here -

In the end, I’ll just say that someone should actually try using BOB Eterna RuPay variant card and let us know if it worked or was declined.

Duh, I’m all for RuPay but your argument is too one-sided. Yes you can make UPI payments, but that’s not the only reason to get this card. I’d like to hit the 3.75% reward rates on everything else as well that Eterna is known for, else the whole thing is pointless. I want someone who has actual experience with that to confirm this.

Reward points offer by banks, Card networks nothing to do.

You will get full 3.75%+1% Milestone benefit (total 4.75%) on BOB Eterna RuPay credit card spend on eligible categories.

@jack333 you should stop talking unnecessarily about Eterna UPI rewards; it confuses people about other things like direct card spend rewards. Be happy with whatever you're getting on UPI spend. 🤣🤣 Visa/mastercard is crap, no reward on UPI spend. 😀😀

Ya, RuPay lounge thing is a genuine matter. Someone should try and let us know.

AFAIK, VISA 'Infinite' offer is not eligible on BOB Eterna. All other Visa Card offers are eligible.

I think they just copied and pasted the BOB Premier RuPay lounge access link into the BOB Eterna page as well.

There are also benefits for BOB Premier, BOB HPCL etc. Now, these cards will also get access to a total of 65 domestic lounges.

I believe they have a shared list of common lounges for all networks, but BOB Eterna Visa has additional lounges on their list.

In this way, RuPay has the largest lounge access in India.

As mentioned before, some lounge names are not listed on the RuPay website.

However, all domestic lounges listed on the Priority Pass website are accessible with RuPay’s super premium cards.
