Burgundy Private Card vs Magnus for Burgundy Card

TF Select
VIP Lounge
Hello,

Monthly Expenditure around 1.2 lac
Few months more than 1.5 lac also

I already have a Maugus for Burgundy Card (M4B) with a very decent limit.

I am been upgraded to Private and I have option to opt for Burgundy Private Card (BP) or they call it as Axis One Card. This will also be LTF.

What is the added benefit I will get?

I am never going to use golf benefits.

Lounge is already free unlimited times via. M4B also.

M4B gives 12 ER for 200 Rs
And 35 ER for 200 Rs (Above 1.5 lac per statement) Accelerated Rewards.

BP gives 20 ER for 200 Rs (even above 1.5 lac also same rewards)

I am seriously confused, should I opt for BP Card, it's not about being lifetime free, it is about what added benefit I can get out of it, it does give me few membership of few hotels

Can anyone who has BP Card tell me about any added benefit they found useful with this card?

when the card is free why not? go for Burgundy Private CC (in fact for Burgundy Private all axis cards are ltf except Olympus) i would suggest go for Olympus and Burgundy Private cc one is paid and one is free your rm can raise the request for olympus and get it before even it opens to market for applying.

BP is more rewarding for spends / month less than 1.5L - 6% reward rate vs 4.8% in M4B
BP is brilliant for forex spends. 6% reward rate and zero forex charges.

M4B is better for spends above 1.5L per month. So you will have to plan accordingly. For the months you expect spends to cross significantly above 1.5L, use M4B
M4B is also better if you use TravelEdge (Although I personally find it to be inflated prices and prefer to use HDFC Smartbuy or Atlas for direct booking)

BP will become paid 50k plus gst and 5:4 transfer will stop if TRV falls below 5cr

Just one question if we upagrde to Burgundy private will Axis magnus burgundy remain life time free or that card is converted to paid magnus ?
When I asked this to burgundy premium experience customer care, they told it will be downgraded to paid magnus. Magnus for Burgundy is only for Burgundy customers and not for Burgundy private.

Although, I have seen one or two guys here claiming to have got both magnus for burgundy and burgundy private. So, either there are exceptions or customer care doesn't know.

This is need to dig deeper into.

Magnus is waste of money.
M4B has way decent rewards ratio.

And spend above 1.5 lac
Accelerated rewards for 35ER for 200rs
Is a game changer.

Even for 1 month if my spend is more then 2lac, rewards will superseed rewards accumulated via. BP card

Break even point seems to be 230000 spend for BP and M4B to become equal. Only if your spends are over 230000 consistently, M4B will make sense. Or if you make a really huge spend like 10L in a month some month, then it can make up for not spending over 1.5L. In all other cases, BP seems to be better.

This is interesting calculation.

Max I have gone upto 1.9 lac per month.

So had deatiled discussion with my RM today

If you have corporate type with Axis your ,than you can get Burgundy private at much lower salary than mentonied on website
Only problem is they offer this only to primary account holder ( with only one card ) and all family members linked to your account are not upgraded to burgundy private

He will find out wheter they will stay burgundy or will be downgraded to normal account .

Magnus burgundy will stay free as long as we hold Bp status .
