Canara bank offline account opening for select Debit card

Branch was fairly new (1-2 year old )

1- asked about account opening was referred to another counter for account opening form
2- person asked about local address ( my permanent is 30kms away)
3 - filled form basic details ( 2 picture+ Sign + basic details) went to 3rd person
He opened via tab
(2 OTP required - one from canara bank
One of aadhar OTP )
4 - applied rupay select dc ( he asked 1100 lagega sir 🤣) he applied while filling application

5- got account number+ downloaded app & asked for account verification code from the employee which they generated & sent on account & viola account is activated+ mobile Banking



Over-all --- account opening was so smooth everything happened in 10 minutes with minimum words exchanged

Today in 2nd quarter I have redmeed
1- spa
2- gym
3- cab
4- health ( didn't reddem but its there )

So there is now no question either it's quarterly or not in Canara Bank

Yes, I just wasn't aware that the annual fees are charged at the end of the year and not the start like Credit cards since this is my first paid Debit Card.

Hi,
For Canara Online account opening VKYC was done 20 days but did get any account info even after 4 days .Customer care suggested to visit branch.
So went to branch and they created new account with rupay select debit card .
Now after 20 days i am seeing additional Rupay Select dc in canara bank app and card dispatch message yesterday.
So idiots have created 1 more account and 1 debit card extra.
If i dont activate card will charges be levied ?
So now have 2 accounts(2k mab ) with 2 select cards. How to register with same bin number 652550 in rupay site to get wellness benefits. It says "Card Already Exists ". Can i use different rupay account and register 2nd canara rupay card ?

So if i close the account no charges till 14 days but card blocking they charge ( 150 + gst ).
But will they DC charges annual fees also if close now or after few months ?( somebody posts in technofino i saw for annual fee recovery charges)

So any idea how to proceed to maximize benefits( use Rupay select benefits) before closing?
