Meri maasi hain , unhone bhi bcom kiya tha ( stream nhi pta 🙂) , then fir IFCAI business school, hyd se mba kiya , isi saal final hua hai and she got placed too as a HR in dil se open (iykyk 🙂) at a nice salary pkg of 15 lpa ( she was a fresher obviously, on campus placement hui).

Mujhe bhi banking sector me bhut interest hai , but ye technical field me ane ke bad pta chla mujhe apne bare me , i am also thinking to switch to fin sector, lets see how it goes 🙂

My very close friend is also in ICFAI Hyderabad, MBA 2nd Year. I believe he has chosen marketing as his elective.

Mehnat karke CFA ki preparation karo bhai, tough hai but if your financial condition is good then give your best. 1-2 attempts lag jaye, but if you feel like ki kar sakta hu toh karlo.

Nahi bhai, I'm from engineering background but not in tech jobs. There are many AMCs, which recruit CFA and you can do your own practice (which is also known as PMS) once you become a CFA, but do it only if you like the finance related stuff else that will be waste of time and your energy.

You can also go for MBA in tourism, (hotel chains mai acchi job lag jati hai, chill life)

In that case CFA is great option after CA. Perhaps, try to connect with any CFA in linkedin and seek their help? Ask them how's things out there, any better career options, etc.

I'm sure someone will definitely answer your queries there, there is no harm in asking questions, you can even make a fake profile if you think thoda creep na lage.

Baki you answered your own question, you didn't study well that's why you failed in the foundation. Who knows maybe, you could've studied hard and cracked it?
