CC bill payment fails on hdfc billpay using platinum DC

I Have add ICICI apay and Platinum CC to hdfc bill pay portal and both are verified and enabled. Whenever i tray to pay bill using may hdfc easyshop platinum dc, it fails no matter what amount i pay. But it is always successful when i use to pay using account. Every time i get an email saying "Alert! Your ICICI Bank Credit Card bill payment has been declined on BillPay" and error message is "Your ICICI Bank Credit Card bill of Rs. 10.00 for HGABP171EB0136424045 has been declined on BillPay due to 0399 - 0399 - PBE10002-Transaction not permitted to cardholder.".talked to customer care they say everything is fine with debit card. Any help?

I just paid the ICICI Apay payment of 12k, no issues. Payment was successful through Platinum debit card.

Don’t we need to wait for the biller to be activated? I was trying to make the SBI cc payment and once I give the details, it seems like I can pay right away. Has anything got changed recently? Do we still get cashback if we go ahead and make the payment?

I paid sbi cb card 10000, got two sms one from sbi - payment successful, another from hdfc - payment failed. Checked in sbi card app the bill is paid but after 3 days got refund of 10000 in hdfc account, then after 3 days 10000 payment deducted from sbi card.

Same here. One of my card details even got deleted and now I am unable to pay the bill after adding the card back again. No idea what to do

How are you trying to pay netbanking /app.

I had no issues paying via app

I have to pay my hdfc cc bill of 1L+. I have a hdfc platinum debit card. I don't see the option to pay hdfc cc bill via hdfc billpay. What's the best way to earn cashback on this?

I too got this sms. Not sure what kind of testing sbi is doing by asking us to re register cards 🤣

If hdfc reverse amount pay through Paytm or cred using upi for instant settlement

Also, is the sms referring to the SBI cards that disappeared from Billpay during the BBPS migration? Anyone who has never added SBI card before but only added it in the last couple of weeks, did you get the SMS?

For safe side pay through upi if your due date is near why harming your cibil score for that 1% cashback
If extra payment done your credit card you will get refund
