Clarification on RuPay NCMC

Doesn't matter just choose Mumbai to see the card option and thereafter just check/update/activate as required. It doesn't matter which NCMC card you have, at least in my testing so far.
Yes... Delhi se toh hat gaya pata nahu kyu 🤣

But really brother, I am surprised how an obscure bus booking app has such a necessary feature, it's commendable. Someone should make an appreciation tweet about Chalo team for implementing this, when market giants have ignored it. Also I hope chalo doesn't restrict the NFC features for non-chalo cards.

And I will try to score the SBI NCMC card next time I am near the metro stations you mentioned. Thank you for all ur help really appreciate it.

Yes Chalo has done commendable job with CCAvenue, which was supposed to be offered by G-pay, S-Wallet and respective metro app, actually that feature is backed by CCAvenue which is a payment gateway, the way balance is updated in the same way, payments can be accepted from physical as well as NFC enabled devices through CCAvenue app.

Ask quoting SBI Nation First Transit Card.

So, you're going to procure min kyc one or full kyc one?

Thanks for the tip...I am thinking of min KYC, Im gonna use it solely for metro so it doesn't matter. Whichever I can get quickly would work.

Now you have one more argument to say, Android is > iOS to your brother. 😜
Actually this iPhone has a backstory. 2 years back I made up my mind about switching to iPhone for a change. I bought it and switched to it, 10 days in and I was fed up with not being able to have moded youtube, ad block etc. On android I have always been able to block ads, I was in shock seeing so many ads after being adfree for years. So I started using android for multimedia and iPhone for banking. Then I saw how iPhone apps were different from Android which I could manage but the iPhone keyboard bugged me too much. So Android became multimedia, messaging, office and iPhone just for banking. Now I use microsoft's sms organizer in Android to organize my SMS (its a lifesaver). So I switched my main banking apps to Android. After 30 days my iPhone was lying useless and my brother took it....to summarize i bought an iphone and switched to android.

Now KYC is also not required for NCMC Card.

Pata nahi kya bolu mein, bro I have said min KYC, SBI ke case mein. 😬

Usme aapka koi document nahi le lega, but phone number wagera se toh linked rahega unlike Metro Card.

Wo pata hai already RBI ne lift kiya tha restrictions bhaut pehle hi with some restrictions.

BTW can anyone confirm if other NCMC cards work in Noida Metro..I don't know who desined Noida Metro Payment System..Officals confirmed no other NCMC card other than SBI City1 NCMC card will work in noida metro.

I mean this is the exact issue NCMC was designed to solve...and these bastards came back to square one

No, only SBI one.

It's one of the reason for suggesting SBI. But don't whether it will work or not, as Noida has specific card, NMRC City 1 by SBI.

Yeah, that's why said, they have defeated the motto & meaning of NCMC. Not, only NMRC, others too operate exclusively.

Also the one you suggested is "SBI Nation First NCMC" and the Noida one is "SBI City1 NCMC", will any SBI NCMC work or have they even restricted the variant?

Good question, don't know exactly, never tried there, it may not work. There's chance, by the way, if SBI is using exclusive chip ( high possibility), especially for issuing Noida card, then it won't work.

If officialy is telling then, moye moye. 🤡

Noida 🤡

There's reload/ top-up fee as well 1.8% or Rs. 12/- (whichever is less, rounded off to nearest Rupee) & annual maintenance charges of ₹25.

noida.webp

I dont know what the hell are RBI and NPCI doing...just release a circular and ban all exclusive payment systems altogether for public services and even for those shitty food courts that force you to buy a card. F this, forget international recognition these bastards wont let rupay work in india.

And it's the whole cycle, dumb govt, working with criminal contractors to scam customers for eternity.

Do you think they don't know?😂

They are aware about it very well, even publish/advertise and it's being practiced with their consent.
