DCB Diners Club Tools and Travel App - Priority pass Digital membership

I have a DCB card. While logging in Diners Club Tools and Travel app in the personalized section, I am being redirected to priority pass account. If I enter my card details there will I be charged?

Diners Club FAQ is unclear, HDFC bank Customer Care says Priority pass is anyway not required. So just wanted to understand if I will be charged or not?

I haven't registered for PP. However, when I open the lounge section after closing and re-opening the app the screen has two options showing up like register for PP just for one or two secs and then it's automatically redirecting to the above page.

I think I can click register for PP within that 2 secs and register. Shall I proceed to register? Please suggest. I just don't want to be in a situation where I use PP and I'm billed later

I looked carefully and Noticed that as @hackumanoj said, 2 button appear. One is login the other is register, but redirects quickly. And this happens for about 1 in 3 times. Rest, the dreamfolks page opens up

I have registered on PP app just now and 83 debited and it shows me unlimited visits in the PP app

The diners app is poor, I tried registering it was failing so I downloaded the priority pass app,
registered and 83 rupees got deducted and now it shows unlimited international Lounges.

This is pretty useful feature. We can use Diners lounges+the PP ones. Loved it.

This is an advantage over Infinia, my Infinia priority pass is physical only and cannot be registered for digital membership card on app. But thankfully since PP has extended the benefit to Diners Club user. My PP is valid till 12/23 even though my DCB is now closed

Yes I have used it on domestic twice. Was not charged. Although on priority pass app you cant search Indian airports. But if they accept PP they will accept you digital membership QR code

This is a benefit offered by PP (Collinson) for the last 2 years. So enjoy it while it lasts. Also can someone with a lower variant HDFC Diners club card confirm that it works for them. If so this would on a ridiculous level.

I don't think it would work. Just hoping HDFC doesn't devalue the lounges of DCB. Fearing this might happen as they gave the dcb like peanuts all thanks to the alumni program

It’s registering on dreamfolks and only showing domestic access

Looks like the card can register on both dreamfolks and PP network. No need to use diners app just download PP app and register on it. Authenticate the card and you'll get the benefits

No clue about this. You can set the limit as 1000 for online, disable rest.
