Eligibility Criteria for ICICI Emeralde Private Metal - Discussion

If you can give good business or you have powerful position in your professional place/business which you can use for everage/pressure to your advantage, it should work.
Isn't this valid everywhere too?
Bro, at the time you were applying and we were advising against it, the card wasn’t worth it. Now, it is. In your position, you could still get it even now.

There should be a card in ~10k range from ICICI to compete with DCB metal other than PVC emeralde. EPM is too hard to get and times black is too steep even with the new benefits.

ICICI is now on the lookout for new HNI customers. They would easily offer wealth account with EPM on a salary credit of 3 lacs in ICICI account.
All those who plan to shift salary account to ICICI should negotiate directly with BM first (prefer a branch which has dedicated wealth section).
Also do check if your company has corporate tie-up for salary with ICICI. That would make things easier.

Would not be easy to get relief on 3 lacs salary criteria.
Can try and offer purchase of other products, FDs and show interest in long term relationship with ICICI.

Ive been trying to get EPM for the past month now.

I have a wealth banking account, sapphiro and MMT card with a seperate10 L limit for both but do not qualify on salary criteria.

Although I am trying to push for it based on my existing relationship, My company has a 4cr loan which is ongoing. Will that count in my TRV?

If you are the owner of the company, then loan may count in your TRV.

3 lacs salary means how much ITR is required ?

If it is for card eligibility, then they consider either one of these.
Net Salary 3L in ICICI salary account is enough no need of ITR.
Some one here is saying 45L ITR is required , thats why asking ..

@sumit_yadav

Spoke to my branch as well, they confirmed these requirements to me:
- PPOP > 50K
- Net salary credit > 4LPM

Also asked me about existing ICICI CC and the limit on it (9L) before they proceed with application. He told me they've already processed 6 EPM cards this month 😱
Heard similar numbers. But ppop > 50kpm is so difficult to have. Did you ask him how to achieve this ppop

As more and more demand increases, they will raise the bars more. Another 1000 people ask for EPM, they will make it 6L per month 😃
5.5 lpa itself is too much... 😀

I wonder how many people now a days are getting > 1.1 Cr... It's become quite common.

If it's business, I understand it's quite common but for salaried, I am quite surprised such high salaried individuals exists.

Not just 1.1cr; 1.1 cr in base component, excluding stocks or year end bonus. That is a really big number.
