No it creates a mess, u need to upgrade present card to core. Its a big headache.

If u r desperate about ltf and convinced that escalations won't help to convert to ltf.

If u r ready to take risk. Close ur swiggy card and follow this trick for new ltf card

There's a trick to get HDFC Swiggy ltf.
1.Check all frds & family swiggy accounts which has lifetime free offer.
2.If available, change ur hdfc mobile number to their number temporarily and apply ltf swiggy cc.
3. Approval takes 1 day only then change back to ur number.

I have got to HDFC Swiggy credit card just two hours ago in mail but I am unable to make any transaction because on the MasterCard payment page there is a message of no mobile and mail ID link to this account for the OTP purposes... Is it normal?

Yes it is normal, just wait for bank to link your mobile number. You will receive SMS when it's done.

If they want to close, they will do it after the transaction also

It can take from few hours to few days. Usually it's resolved in 24hrs after card delivery SMS confirmation from bank.

This is done to prevent the misuse of the card while in transit.

My father recently got a HDFC credit card, and on receiving the credit card. I did reset the pin and set the transactions limit and receiving OTP perfectly on mobile phone. But upon trying to make online transaction (tried on both Amazon and Flipkart), I am getting Email ID and phone number not updated error in the OTP page
I have attached Screenshot for the reference.

I connected with CS but even they are not sure about the issue and asked to mail to HDFC. Today received mail asking for time for until 22 July. I am worried as if I don't perform transaction on time, I loose the joining...

I had applied for swiggy card. The bank rejected the application then I asked them the reason of card rejection. They told that they can't provide limit additional limit as I already hold hdfc card. Then agreed for issuing the card as a floater card. I have sent the floater card form to their Chennai office. They did the verification for my office 21st Jan. Today I got the email that my application has been rejected. What could be the reason now as they had agreed for floater card?
