GOT HSBC Live+ Card recently, wanted to apply for Add ON card but have some queries ?

1. Is HSBC add ON card attracts saparate annual fee/Joining?
2. IS HSBC Cashback cap of Rs.1000/Month is aggreagate or saparate for Main and Add ON card?
3.Card Offers on Amazon/Flipkart applies offers to both cards as individual or it count only for main card?

Yes the 1000 back on 20k is also eligible for every add on you apply and spend 20k is first 30 days. I have successfully received 1000rs without any issues previous month itself for the spends done in October & November

Since you have updated the mobile number for your add-on card, are the OTPs for the add-on card sent to the primary number or the new number?

So any restriction on spends of 20k in first 30 days for Rs1000 cashback ? Can i do it on wallet/utilities etc to get 1000 cashback.
Also do add-on members need to register on HSBC app and then spend 20k for 1k cashback ? as per below condition ?
"Cardholders will be entitled to ₹1,000 Cashback on successfully downloading the HSBC India Mobile app and make transactions of at least ₹20,000 within the first 30 days".
Also they are telling addon has separate 4 lounge access ? Has anybody tried this and tested .

No restrictions as such do any kind of txns only base 1.5% won't be rewarded

I don't think its seperate, the lounge access quota is combined but didn't test this.

but they are saying its separate. I double clarified even with the cc exec who was applying online. Didnt check personally though

Customer care can't be trusted also check t&c as I didn't find anything regarding this clearly as add on card isn't talked clearly in mitc.

So one must try and check themselves

Hi, I need some confirmation on the process followed by HSBC for add on card. I requested for one and I received a call back. The call intially looked fishy as TrueCaller tagged it as spam but I proceeded providing all the details of my spouse as the Executive said there is no mailing option for addon. At last she asked for last 8 digits of my credit card number for 'verification' which struck me as odd and I simply asked her to call back after couple of days.

I am not sure if this is their normal verification process. Can someone please comment if this is indeed the process?
