HDFC Bank Bill payment portal 1% Cashback on credit card bill payment officially over[Confirmed]

HDFC has added the following comment on Platinum DC Page:



"Credit Card BillPay transactions made through Debit Card will NOT earn any CashBack points with immediate effect as this is not an eligible category for the same."


Updates:
As per the members reports the working portals are SBI Unipay website, Jio Finance app, Airtel Thanks app and Canara Setu website. Please use as per your own discretion.

Just saw this post on reddit, apparently cashback on hdfc debit cards have been stopped for Credit card Bill payment. View attachment 64453

This has been the case since the beginning. The terms were same. It was just a loophole that we were using

Jab tak unipay MCC change nehi karega tab tak hdfc pe 1% confirm hai. HDFC can't do anything in this case

It's just that their credit card mcc on hdfc bill pay was of utility so
We were getting cashback
