Infinia HDFC Infinia Priority Pass Charged for Access in Domestic Indian Airports

I use it for arrivals lounges at Delhi and Bangalore. I will continue using it till I get charged or they send an official notification. Will be coming back to Delhi from abroad in a few weeks and will check it again.

I guess thats the only way to confirm.

We can complaint against HDFC for no prior intimation.

Nobody can verify later if there were any guests with you or not

When u use PP at lounge, you will get small receipt and in that you can check the guest counts. Keep that slip for 2-3 months, in case bank charges wrongly

I used the Priority Pass on March 3rd at Srinagar Airport and on February 25th at Kolkata Airport. However, I don't see any deduction charges.

I swiped Infinia PP at BOM today. Next week in DEL and TRV. Let us see.

HDFC won't make the mistake of not telling in advance for such a premium card and top clients, IMO.

That is a risk you will always have with any Priority pass issued with any credit card.
Hence you yourself need to write ZERO in block capitals next to guest visits, before you sign it

Right, many times they don't give any slip and don't ask for signature either. Even today I didn't get one in Bangalore 080 lounge.

Moreover my priority pass card is corrupted, so swipe never works. They always type full number, expiry and name manually. So, if they want to do any fraud, they can do it later as well.

But we have some level of protection as we can always raise chargeback against them. I did once when I wasn't satisfied with the service, one guy was very rude and asked to leave before the 2 hrs period. Even though I wasn't paying anything, bank did pay to them for full 2 hrs. Still it wasn't successful, as I didn't had more info like the person name etc. But it is one option. As they don't have any signature, they won't be able to defend it.

lol they devalued Swiggy dineout benefits silently only xD from 15% upto 1k on min 3k bill to 10% upto 500 on min bill 3.5k xD

dcb is like 10% upto 400 😂 not a big difference now between both xD

it takes time can be charged anytime till 3 months are not over .. after 3 months if they didn't charge means ur safe

Hdfc is going to make some money, there will be good chunk of people still swiping PP instead of infinia domestic lounges. Hdfc might charge them anytime in 3 months period.

How many % people go to RBI for such issues, even for people here on TF family, it might not be very high. How many % cases of these result in customer favour, combining both these factors, hdfc will still make some money.

If you are willing to take this risk & have time for all these fight via RBI ombudsman, then you can still swipe PP.

90% infinia holders are certainly not rich, they are just high spenders with moderate income as far as i have seen. 10-20 lakhs

Now it's diffcult to get the card but 1 - 1.5 yrs back it was given to everyone asking or having 4-5 lakh spends in 6 months.

Hdfc will get bombarded with rbi complains if they remove this without prior intimation.

I spoke with the Infinia support team, and they confirmed that Priority Pass usage for domestic lounges is free. Support team: "If you are still charged on your card, please contact us, and we will process the reversal".
