Infinia HDFC Infinia "requesting" 1.5 lakhs spend per month?

Just received the above email. What does it mean? If we don't spend 1.5 lakhs a month, we're not entitled to these benefits?

Why? I have bought several cars worth way more than 10 lakhs. Have never taken any loans. No issues ever. As long as you are filling proper tax, you can spend your money as you like. TCS is simply adjusted in your tax filing.

Correct. SFT means nothing. I have dozens of SFTs in crores every year and no one has ever questioned it. I have no qualms about spending any amount I need on a card.

Your 5L fd is stuck at the moment at 7.25% pa with no compound interest ? Or till you downgrade yourself from infinia to dcb (which i am guessing you wont).

I was offered the same, lien with fd for more limit and 10L+ spend. I never replied back to them.

But people are suffering from analysis paralysis in most of the cases.. instead of enjoying life..

Be it these income tax notices on the spends of 10L or even this 1.5L requested spend by HDFC ..that tag of low spenders is just for internal easy admin purposes...

I went through my credit card bill payment emails and added it up. Now thinking of writing a python script to do this automatically.

Btw, since when they started giving points for govt institutions and rent mcc🤔.
