I booked flight tickets on smartbuy using reward points on my diners privilege card. My points were redeemed but transaction failed. Then I booked again using different points and this time it went through. On writing to smartbuy support, I got my points back for the failed transaction but they are still charging me the point redemption fee of INR 99. So in total, I am being charged 2 redemption fees for one successful and one failed transaction. Is this worth fighting with bank's escalation matrix?
