How many bank accounts do you have and for what purposes?

TF Select
I hold following bank accounts

  1. ICICI Bank (Savings) - For salary crediting and investments
  2. IDFC First Bank (Savings) - for savings purposes, it gives good rate of interest.
  3. DBS - Idk why I am still holding this.
  4. Paytm Payments Bank - Had opened it long back, not sure why I am holding this too.
  5. Fi.money - For day to day transactions as my primary savings account would get cluttered with few hundred rupees transactions.
  6. Jupiter - Had opened alongside with Fi, thinking to close this.

Offtopic question:
I have never got any passbook for my sbi account.
I need one passbook to show as address proof etc.
Now the account is heavily used for UPI transactions, so can i just get a passbook wth this month's entry on it?

I know it is free and branch will issue me one.
My question was can they issue passbook with this month's transaction on it Jan'24.
Or do they have to generate since the beginning of account opening

Just ask them to issue a passbook
They will handover it without entries
Put that book into kiosk and It'll print from very start
Wait 2-3 days and then visit again they will issue another

I don't think they will issue with latest entries

As my canara account had 12 passbook
Mentioning each entries
I dropped the idea of updating further 😆

important advice never keep money in one account. Salary account are zero balance
How many job and business you have to take salary in these salary accounts

Keep on escalating it to next level and reach RBI. Keep these conversation over email. It will take long time , say 2-3 months for resolution.
I visited branch again today and met bm
Seems he is bs and arrogant
He straightaway denies my request and told you have to pay to make it 0 and then you can close your account...

Have HDFC Imperia, salary and savings
Kotak, was forced to open during internship
ICICI opened long back in college

Looking for a good bank account to move salary, savings and maybe investments (mutual funds, index funds) in the future, what do you guys suggest? Won't have much TRV but salary is 5LPM.

Suggest to keep in hdfc. Best overall in my perspective

Can anyone provide list of all banks which provides zero balance account without any initial funding?
Along with free LTF debit card? (Physical preferred)

How to get Axis Zero balance account ?
GO TO NEAREST AXIS CSP POINT (GOVT) OR NEARBY POINT OR SAHAJ POINT ( MOU 3RD PARTY COLLABORATION BANKA POINTS)

AND TELL THEM TO OPEN AXIS SAHAJ SAVINGS ACCOUNT, WHICH IS ZERO BALANCE AND ALL FEATURES ARE SAME AS THE EAZY SAVINGS ACCOUNT(SBEZY) WHERE WE NEED TO MAINTAIN 10000 MAB URBAN; 5000MAB SEMI URBAN

AXIS SAHAJ AND AXIS EAZY SAVINGS ACCOUNT BOTH FEATURES ARE SAME EXCEPT MAB.
BUT IT WILL BE OPENED ONLY IN ABOVE POINTS NEAR YOU.

PREV IF YOU KNOW THE SCHEME CODE BANK STAFF CAN CONVERT , BUT NOW THEY ONLY PLACE THE REQUEST APPROVAL IS BACK END IN AXIS BANK.
