your problem?
The BOB application is not proceeding.
I completed the vKYC on 27th March, after that no response from them.
Although they mailed me that they are waiting for my vKYC to be done but I'm yet to receive the link from them.
I wrote them back this issue with a copy to acquisition & RBI, still they are not responding, I first wrote them on last Friday & gave a reminder today.

As of now, they are running limited time unconditional LTF offer. so don't worry you will get unconditional LTF card only.
After much thoughts, applied for BOB credit cards through your link. I have completed the form for Bob Premier. But on going to through the aadhaar based e-KYC formality, I noticed that in my automatically generated cc application form, it is written that "I agree to pay joining fee of 1000(reversed on spends of 10000 in 60 days) and annual fee of 1000(subject to spend based reversal)". Is it really unconditional LTF? But the statements written on the form say otherwise.

You must have received a copy of the digital application form on your email Id. Over there, if you go to the bottom, there is a campaign and promo code mentioned, I believe that is what they are using to decide LTF or not.

Didn't get a single mail or SMS from BOB confirming the receipt of my application for CC.

UPDATE: But I did notice a Promo Code(based on your advice) in the CC application form which is generated on the e-KYC portal. The Promo Code is: EPLPR. The Campaign Code is: 351001. And the Source Code is: DIY001. What does it mean? What was the Promo Code on your application form?

I have the same data in Promo, Campaign and Source code. Dont worry your application seems LTF only, regardless of when it is approved, you should receive a LTF card.

Applied BOB Card on 30th March 2022. Did VKYC on the same day sucessfully after that no update from their side.

Application tracking no shows your credit card application with reference number 2203309XXXXXXXX is under process. We look forward to having you as our valued customer.

Messaged them on Twitter & Mail’ED but only generic response that we will get back to you bla bla bla.

No Reply on Mail.

Can anyone tell how much time it will take… 0 calls for Inperson KYC or office Address Verification.

Its random for everyone..... Mine approved in 20 days.... Some... Even got in 7 days... Some people are waiting from 6 months.. Its all chaos at bob end... They are overwhelmed by applications.... As youtubers have said... Anybody and everybody can get approval.. So everyone is applying.

Hello Experts,

Can you please tell if BoB is providing higher limits when applied with income proof as compared to the one on C2C basis or is it the other way around? Or is it random?

Actually one can apply for higher limit if one can prove increase in salary/earnings from the date of issuance of CC. But you have to visit the branch directly.

Limit issuance is not that random, some banks don't like certain things, for example, if bank thinks your existing limit of other banks CC is more than what someone with your salary should have, they will give very less limit even if you fall in their criteria.

Some banks like SBI will initially give very less limit irrespective of how you apply to avoid any risk of large default. They do increase it later as you use the card, given you pay on time.

Personally I don't find that much of a issue if limit is above 50-60k, unless you are gunning for upgrade to higher verient CC which may require your existing CC limit to reach certain amount.

You will not see any Infinia/Diners Black with a limit of 50,000-80,000.
In order to upgrade you need to reach to 5 & 8 Lakh at least for DCB & Infinia respectively.
So although limit not a concern, but if your credit limit doesn't shoot up to a certain level you are not going to get the Premium Cards with higher benefits & if you are not getting better benefits, you will be frustrated eventually & start thinking why you are even continuing with the CC.
