HDFC Bank Infinia is the best credit card available in India for frequent air travellers. HDFC Bank market this credit card as an invite only card, but in reality you can actually apply for this card.
Official Eligible Income Criteria For HDFC Infinia- 43L ITR (depends on location)
DCB - 24L ITR
If you don't have ITR of 43L/24L you can still get HDFC Infinia/DCB, you have to fulfil some other criteria.
This information is not available publicly on HDFC Bank website.
Hidden Criteria For "New HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank Infinia credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 10 lakhs credit limit for this.
"New HDFC Bank Diners Club Black Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank DCB credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 5 lakhs credit limit for this.

If your already have a HDFC Bank credit card, then you have to upgrade your existing card to Infinia/DCB,
For Upgrade To Infinia-
1. You need minimum 8 lakhs credit limit on your existing HDFC Bank Credit card
2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, fill up and attach credit card upgrade form with the email.
*Credit card upgrade form (New Version) - attached with this thread.

For Upgrade To DCB-

2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, attach card upgrade form with the email.

I am currently using the Axis Magnus card. I am planning to move to HDFC Infinia. I am not sure about the eligibility. I have a credit limit of 7 lakhs in Axis Magnus and some Personal loan relationships with HDFC.
1. What are the chances of C2C from Magnus to Infinia?
2. If Infinia Reserve gets released, will it be easy to get Inifinia? Is it better to apply now or after the release of Inifinia Reserve?
Thank you
3. I have spent 15 lakhs on Magnus this year, card yet to get a free renewal, what are the chances of getting it Lifetime-free from Customer Care if I say that, I will discontinue if I don't get LTF.

I have a DCB (FYF) with credit limit of 6 lakhs and this limit is shared with Tata Neu Infinity. I have been a customer of HDFC for more than 15 years and hardly did get any limit enhancements nor any benefits (like periodic upgrade). And this credit limit is the worst of the lot amongst my other credit cards.

Out of the blue while my RM had called (just the second time I am talking to him), I mentioned to him that I am looking for Infinia, and he asked what is my take home. I mentioned 1.8 L per month and he said it is possible to get Infinia with Unit head exception. So i said please proceed. Just 2 days back he got back with an upgrade form, and asked me to fill the details for the upgrade along with 3 months salary slips. I spoke to him today, and as per him it is in process and should be done within 3 or 4 working days. Fingers crossed !!

This does mean that the RM if he wants to can easily get an exceptional approval for Infinia (let me get my card first 😉)

Thank you Sir 🙂 Let me get it first, though !
For now the RM says , you will get it, it is in process, but I am surprised that its being approved considering the low limit of my DCB as well as not much spends in the last 6 months.

Probably sign of some big devaluations to come to the Infinia??

I have DCB and I currently meet all the criteria for Infinia. I had asked PriorityRedressal for Upgrade to Infinia. They sent reply asking for consent to upgrade, confirmation on FYF, RP transfer and also asked to send scanned copy of Upgrade form.

One question in the upgrade form, is about Autopay. There is a section for Autopay to specify account number, whether to auto pay Minimum Due or Total Due. I dont really want this facility, so can I submit the form without this filled? Has anyone tried it before?

Yes u can. I filled in the same way for Regalia to DCB upgrade.

Hi Guys, I got my Regalia Gold a month back (Upgraded from Regalia First). I had Regalia for about 4 years. Have a salary account with HDFC. I don't qualify to get an upgrade based on ITR. It may be too early to ask for an upgrade to DCB; if so, how long should I wait?

Hi ,
I have finally got an email from Priority redressal team stating that my current DCB will be upgraded to Infinia metal FYF basis. I am yet to receive the card but I can see the same in my HDFC netbanking account where my current DCB balances along with reward points have been moved to Infinia. Will keep the group posted once I receive the physical card.
I am also checking with Imperia team on how the transactions will be rewarded till the time I do not receive the Infinia card and keep using DCB card for the transit time (as per HDFC app, DCB is showing as 0 balance whereas Infinia account has leftover balances ).
