renewal benefit in terms of reward points, for Infinia you get the 12500 points against the renewal fees of 12500+GST but for dcbm no rewards against the fees for 10000+GST
If you aren't able to spend 8 lacs in a year then it's worst deal.

But if you have RG, Still I think you can go for upgrade as rewards points value you accumulate on RG is again 0.5 value of infinia but from dcb its 1.

I thought of the annual memberships that we get on annual fee waiver on spends of 8 lacs, in this situation its good.

Are you sure about the reward points conversion from RG to dcbm is 100%? As per the upgrade form it's 50%
If it's 100% I can go for dcbm.
I have 36k points which will easily cover the fees for 1 year and during that time I can try for upgrade to Infinia again.

For dcbm upgrade its 50% as for infinia upgrade.

But from dcbm to infinia its 100%

I was saying if you still accumulate points on RG It will be a loss if those spends can be made on dcbm.

Okay... I am still waiting for reply from priorityredressal team :crossed-fingers: if it's rejected again will ask them for dcbm
There are several things to consider and one of the things is recent devaluations on HDFC cards. With the increased processing fee on Amazon gift vouchers effective value back from Infinia came down to 12.54% while DCBM it’s 5.86%. Makes hell lot of difference if you use Apay as payment method and buy vouchers on primary and add-on Infinias.

that's true .. I do payment via APAY wherever it's accepted also base rewards are also good for offline spends which can be used for flight/hotel booking
