Accelerated Reward Points i.e 4 RP for every INR 100 Spends, will be earned on the following categories : Airlines (3000 3069, 3071,3071, 3075-3079, 3081-3090,3094,3096,3103,3106,3110-3112,3115,3117,3118,3125 3127,3129-3133,3135-3138,3143-3146,3148,3151,3154,3156, 3159,3161,3164,3165,3167,3170-3172,3174-3178,3180-3188,3190-3193,3196,3197,3200,3203,3204,3206,3211-3223,3226,3228,3229, 3231, 3233-3236, 3238-3243,3245-3248,3251-3254, 3256,3259-3263, 3266, 3267, 3280, 3282, 3284-3287, 3292-3300,3302,4511) Travel Aggregators (4722,4723)

2X reward points will be posted within 60 days post the month end of the transaction

Some Calculations -

If we consider 1 RP = 1 ALL Accor Point and hence consider 1 RP = INR 1.8

2x reward points - 7.2%
Base Reward Points - 3.6%
Welcome Benefit Milestone - 5400 on 1,00,000 spend is 5.4% (No Exclusions)
Annual Milestone Benefit - 18000 on 12,00,000 spend is 1.5% (No Exclusions)

Now if you combine the Welcome Benefit Milestone & Annual Milestone then the first year Reward Rate in Accor Terms for all excluded spends also comes out to be - 23400 on 12,00,000 spends is 1.95% (Waiving the Annual Fees & without any exclusions)

But the joining fees need to be adjusted in all the above calculation and it depends on how you value 3k Postcard Hotel voucher & 3 Months Eazydiner Prime Membership as otherwise net of cashback the Joining Fees is INR 4898.82.

just checked it
1. it does give 4 points on travel aggregators but atlas also gives 2 points which is effective 4 partner points - so no diff
2. milestone at 12L - 10k points on atlas at 7.5L we get 5k points which is effective 10k partener points - atlas better

Biggest thing could be exclusion list which should be small compared to atlas.
Also air asia 1:3 can work for domestic flights, not sure?

Also from what I understood for Shangri-La Circle - it is 5:1 means 5 reward points = 1 partner points.

Good card to add if Axis devalues Atlas. Exclusions matters. Metal form would’ve been excellent.

This one gives 4 on travel while Atlas gives 5 on travel edge which is equal to 10 travel partner points.

Both gives 2 as base but atlast covert it to 4 miles.

Spend milestone is also good on atlas.

So for now atlas is above this card. But who knows axis. King of devaluation.

No cap is a lie. Check out the exclusions:

No Cap means unlike 2x category has cap of 50k rp the base reward category doesn't have reward earning cap. But then you have all these exclusions 😂

They seem to be on a roll. Expanding branches, introducing new cards, etc seems they intend to fill the Citi void.

Lot of exclusions.... In fact more than Atlas. Atlas gives points on education, this one does not

Education and Jewellery should not have been excluded. Other exclusions such as Insurance, Utilities etc are fine. HDFC is still the king when it comes to managing exclusions

But they are already more reluctant than HDFC in issuing cards. They are mostly targeting Salaried Individuals and HNIs.
True but in hindsight kind of that’s saving their products from devaluation. Any product meant for mass affluents ends up getting devaluated sooner. In this case it might change as well considering future increase in serviceable locations due to new branch openings.

I don't think major devaluation would take place as they have already designed the card learning from other banks.

I don't find this attractive enough. The Fees, T&C, exclusions, reward rates, milestone benefits plus HSBC credit card issuance history all make it a big no no. Atlas, even at it's current devalued state, stands far far better than this.
