IDFC Bank Account Total Freeze

I've been using IDFC Bank account for around 3.5 years now but suddenly 4 days ago, they added a Total Freeze on my bank account stating - Financial transactions (both debit and credit) in your account are currently restricted.
I contacted my RM and he said that NPCI has put a restriction on the account and asked me from where I receive UPI payments in my account. I notified them that those UPI txns are from my business bank account and said the same over email, but after that, there have been no updates regarding this and just said that its in process.

Any idea what should I do next?

Update - After 20 days, the bank finally removed the Freeze from my account

Any experience with only rewards portal getting blocked but account working fine? Do they unblock the rewards portal? What if i close and open new account will I be able to redeem reward points again?

Waise kitne RPs earn kar chuke the jo block kar diya?🙃

Axis,hdfc, icici ..no matter how shit ..never freeze account randomly

Axis does freeze,icici directly closes savings account without warning and option if u do high txn. Hdfc on the other hand haven't heard such case yet.

Around 10 txn per day. Heard one case where they warned the customer before freeze lifting that to use the acct as a savings acct. ( Or convert to current account).
I myself faced same warning from indusind.

Depends on account activity ..
If u stopped using
There is no transaction in last week's
No dues
Then just wait for 1 april .. let the intrest get credited make it zero &
Directly ask for link
If everything is ok they will send

If you account is freezed they will give regardless

Bas sidha khna account closure link bhjdo, reasons mat puchna.

Balance transfer kr lena kisi aur account mein, agr kuch interest due hoga to DD aajega

10 upi transaction once a month or twice is ok
But if u done it daily ..
Any system will flag .

As per TnCs yes

Better visit branch if you have balance. Interest doesn't matter as much as balance amount matters.
