IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

Update: I have closed my Ashva Credit Card.

And the Joining Inaugural offer is being continuously extended (both for Mayura and Ashva). Now the offer is applicable till 31st January 2025

Did you pay the joining fees bro. I am planning to get the card only for physical collection. Getting as a upgrade from millennia. Planning to close as soon as I get it

Now you have to pay the JF to receive the physical card.
Without paying the fees they will not dispatch your card. When we(@BVC @Krishna Kumar and many more) got the card there was no condition to pay the JF fee before receiving the card. Think before getting it, now as the welcome bonus is also reduced. The cost of keeping the card for the 1st yr. is not worth in my view.

Exactly. Not worth now. Mayura atleast has an 0 Forex (But fees is on higher side)

Looks wise card is excellent, if they revalue with some more benefits people might continue, else mass cancellations will be there.

For your Question, Answer is Yes.
I applied for this card yesterday and though the joining reward points offer is not as lucrative as before to recover most of the joining fees but I am planning to primarily use for BMS and Forex expenses since I don't have any other card except RBL Play for BMS. And I probably won't renew it unless yes they revalue with some more benefits.

Thank you for the answer.

I currently have the IDFC First Wealth Credit Card, which is lifetime free (LTF). Additionally, I have been offered the IDFC First Mayura Metal Credit Card; however, it is not LTF.

Besides the IDFC First Wealth Credit Card, I also own the Diners Club Black (DCB) card, which is my default card for all transactions. The rewards on the DCB are highly attractive, especially when using the SmartBuy platform. Furthermore, the DCB card is also lifetime free for me.

How does the Mayura Metal Credit Card compare to the DCB, which is LTF in my case? Is the Mayura Metal Card superior to the DCB? As a retired individual with a passion for traveling the world, most of my expenses are travel-related.

DCB is significantly superior to Mayura in terms of overall benefits and features. The only notable advantage of Mayura is its zero forex fee, with no other substantial benefits. At present, opting for IDFC Mayura does not appear to be a practical choice.
Is the Mayura Metal Card superior to the DCB?
Certainly not.

I know this doesn't add value to the card. But I have dcb and an ashva. Took ashva just to get a feel for it and will cancel next year.
But the card design in superb, I imagine it is the same with mayura. Dcb is nothing in design when compared.
Idfc has the card to flaunt now they just need to adjust its returns. Again probably they won't since they are not so competitive and seems to be loosing out on the whole.

Which one do you recommend? Leaning towards Mayura for the zero forex + ~1.8% rewards on top of that. Not getting cards like Olympus, Infinia or DCB
There are recommendations on this forum. Anyway, what's that you are looking for primarily and then good to haves.
