IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

The reward rate for Mayura is pretty low -
  • 1X = 1 Reward Point per ₹150 spent | 1 Reward point = ₹0.25
So effectively, ~0.167%. But you get 5x on up to ₹20000 spends and 10x beyond, so at best ~1.67% effective reward rate.

DCB Metal has a base reward rate of 3.33% and forex markup of 2% (+GST). However, if you have Global Value Back program activated on your card (1% cashback on international spends), the effective reward rate for international transactions comes to ~1.97%. So I'd say that DCB Metal is still the better choice overall considering only the reward rate. Do keep in mind that many countries have a fairly low acceptance rate for Diners Club cards though whereas the IDFC Mayura uses the MasterCard network and will be accepted everywhere.
Thank you. Will use DCB as Primary and Mayura as backup!

These 1000rs cashback for 4 transactions in 60days is applicable even if I take Amazon pay vouchers of it of 1000 each or have some exclusions on it? Please some guide

Update: I have closed my Ashva Credit Card.

And the Joining Inaugural offer is being continuously extended (both for Mayura and Ashva). Now the offer is applicable till 31st January 2025
Looks like trick to get customers. Creating FOMO by IDFC.

Did you pay the joining fees bro. I am planning to get the card only for physical collection. Getting as a upgrade from millennia. Planning to close as soon as I get it

Now you have to pay the JF to receive the physical card.
Without paying the fees they will not dispatch your card. When we(@BVC @Krishna Kumar and many more) got the card there was no condition to pay the JF fee before receiving the card. Think before getting it, now as the welcome bonus is also reduced. The cost of keeping the card for the 1st yr. is not worth in my view.
