IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

A slight off topic, question.

I have IDFC Vistara, IDFC Wealth cards before getting Mayura and Ashva cards. On applying them I got the limit of Wealth CC and Vistara CC to Mayura and Ashva. Now recently couple of days back I have received limit enhancement on IDFC Vistara card by 15% and other cards remain with old limit. I have requested IDFC about merging the limits and they came up with this reply to submit documents to increase or merge limits across other cards.

Is it the same policy?

How you get limit enhancement on IDFC card?

Didn’t knew this , I thought if one card limit is increased , all would be increased . My zone axis card got le , so all the other 2 got the same .

Axis, HDFC works that way as per my experience too. But for IDFC this is my first experience, so needed someone's view on this.

They have sent me message & mail exactly on the date of 6 months of the card issuance.

But no Credit limit enhancement msg or mail till now.

Today I used the Ashva card for the Railway Lounge Access with guest access. At first, the Lounge Agent was spectacle seeing the card. She took some time before swiping the card.

So Rupay variants are not reported as separate accounts? Only main accounts are reported?

I used my mayura card in medical shop and told him to tap , after got the card in his hand he checked the card all sides then did tap . Looks like he saw the metal card first time .

Same experience for me when I swiped in Joyalukkas recently for a purchase. He was like this card, looks wow and when did IDFC launch this??

Ask them to match the limit.

I have attached an image earlier, you can see they clearly denied. Will try calling customer care, earlier I have dropped a mail to them.

don't worry , limit on the other cards will also increase to the max limit within a business week.
Same happened with me . Just remember , IT IS AN AUTOMATIC PROCCESS , it takes time.

Since you are planning to close mayura and ashva before renewal, may i know the reason for virtual rupay card ?

Virtual rupay card gives 50/- cashback for first 4 transactions... So, 200/- cashback adjusted with 235/- joining fee of virtual rupay card... Then no harm to keep it...

Same happened with me . Just remember , IT IS AN AUTOMATIC PROCCESS , it takes time.

In actual I hold wealth card which was earlier to Vistara card, but got LE on Vistara. Does age of the card really matter in this process??

That’s actually a better deal, I was thinking they will be reported as separate account. We can use separate cards during merchant offers. Thanks for the info.

Axis, HDFC works that way as per my experience too. But for IDFC this is my first experience, so needed someone's view on this.

I have received two times limit enhancement on IDFC cards, first time holding IDFC select and power+ and second time select and Vistara both the times limit enhancement offer received first through WhatsApp channel followed by mail, but in both instance received on one and was automatically applied to others like HDFC, last enhancement received this July but both times received on select itself so maybe core card limit applies to all.
