One class upgrade vouchers are pretty useless for me. Would have been useful if I could upgrade award tickets

I love One class upgrade vouchers. Even they can be used to upgrade award seats (but only on Airport counters). I upgraded my PE to Business twice in December.

And premium economy availability is not great from my city.

Sad then.

But one class upgrade voucher is very sweet spot to upgrade PE to Business if seats are available in business. Which in general always are available.

Why you need to cancel ? Just to apply again and get 2000 points x 3 (as joining benefit) ?

IDFC is well known to show wow credit cards to those who have cancelled their previous cards.
If at all not needed, don't cancel and continue anyways they are giving 2 one class upgrade vouchers and 1 PE ticket

My current idfc vistara was issued with shared limit with existing select cc, with shared limit. Application was very seamless and card was generated within seconds with just OTP authentication.

I won't cancel select cc. So just wondering, if cancelling vistara cc and applying again will I get it this easily or not.

You booked those PE tickets using CV Points or milestone vouchers? I heard (from this thread) that voucher are not available for upgrade, but tickets booked using CV Points can be upgraded.

I am a bit worried about vistara air India merger. In one way I am hopeful that the network (routes) will increase, on other hand worried that CV Points may lose value.

I am very novice about airmiles. But, I guess CV is the most value for money airline program out there. Enlighten me if I am wrong.

Its joining fee and annual fee is not justifiable considering its features. I was keen to get it as I've pre-approved offer but high annual fee is the hindrance
