Hi
I want to ask after transfering 10L , how much time i should take to contact customer care of idfc bank for wealth upgrade for example I transferred 10L today i.e 2/4/2024 when should i mail them for wealth upgrade.

I'm aware about that but without paying fees is better option IMO. Even if they don't give vouchers and don't charge fees I'm fine with that... For vouchers I need to sell or use them just to utilise vouchers...
That's why I said talk to bm
If u take favour from bm u have to give back the favour
So if u plan keeping zero balance or 2-4 lakh
Better have it paid

I m doing it for the limit I will get on the card

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience with upgrading my IDFC FIRST Bank account from a regular account to a Wealth account. I hope this can help those of you who are considering doing the same.

I came across a few articles on Technofino where people talked about how they got their accounts upgraded from an IDFC regular account to an IDFC Wealth account. These stories got me curious, so I decided to look into it myself.

I reached out to my Relationship Manager (RM) at IDFC FIRST Bank to discuss the upgrade. He informed me that the official balance requirement for an IDFC Wealth account is ₹10 lakhs. However, he mentioned that if I could maintain a balance of around ₹5 lakhs and also take out a term plan, he could assist me with the upgrade.

So, I went ahead and maintained the suggested balance and got a term plan. Within 10 days, my account was upgraded! I received a welcome kit along with a Wealth Debit Card, which comes with a range of exclusive benefits.

If anyone is considering upgrading their account, I highly recommend talking to your RM to explore your options. It made a huge difference for me, and the benefits of the Wealth account are definitely worth it. (To note: value given above are also negotiable based on how clever your RM is)
