IDFC Future First A/C - My Experience

What about existing FF saving account holder?

I read this and remembered the guy who opened my FF account. He also knew that FF account existed but never opened it himself and therefore I guided him the process and he opened it with 0 IP.

Also when I asked for a RM, BM personally called and told me as of now only HNI programs can have a RM. I know its not true as some members got RM in FF, but he also added if I happen to have any problem with the account then I should contact the guy (I had his number but he still gave me that guy's name and no.) who opened my account and thereafter I received another call from that guy asking to call him anytime when help needed.

Even after hearing about the freeze issues, I use it as a main account. One of the best accounts in my opinion. True replacement of Paytm PB for me.
Any idea why this specific bank has so many freezing issues? Do they use AI for detecting suspicious/fraudulent activities? I just don't get it

I use my idfc account for daily transactions and never faced freezing issues. I guess we need to give a high annual income during account opening to avoid these issues.
 
My Detailed Experience Opening a Future First Savings Account at IDFC First Bank within Just 24hours

Yesterday, I visited an IDFC First Bank branch to inquire about the Future First (FF) savings account. To my surprise, multiple employees denied its existence.
So immediately by reading some TF community posts I posted a complaint on social media at 8:00 PM. IDFC’s team responded within just 2minutes, asking for details. Soon after, I got a call from their representative, who assured me they would look into the issue. They then escalated my concern to the Senior Grievance Manager, who was very polite and humble. He promised to verify personally the account’s availability and instruct the branch if needed.

Then immediately at morning, the branch called and claimed the FF account was only for rural areas. However, I mentioned my conversation with the Senior Manager, who had confirmed that it could be opened at any branch. The representative then suggested opening an account with ₹10,000 and converting it later to ff after using normal account for one month to which i asked to give written confirmation of same but he denied then i also denied to do the same without written confirmation..


Later after one hour, the Branch Manager called and was very courteous. He assured me there would be no issues and arranged for an agent to visit my home to open the account. To my surprise directly, a Deputy Sales Manager arrived, completed the process within just 5 minutes, and the FF account appeared in my app instantly.

I was very much stunned by their such response and doing all these in just these much short span of time and yes it was done even even before the time of 24hours . The Deputy Manager even shared his personal contact for future concerns and requested that please don't do complaints on social media, as the pressure puts on them from head office.

So i hope that this detailed view will help those who want to open this account but unable to do it..And yes thanks to TF community from which i have learned this much.

That's what you need to guys, complain on social media to open the account.
yes their social media team is very active they reply just in span of minutes and yes they definitely took the class of the branch if they are at the fault..as said by BM on call that sir please from next time if you have any query call on this number and even sales manager has given his number to ask any query or assistance at any time

TIP: At first the branch person will say and make excuses like this then no problem just say very politely that give this in written or mail,if they do continue ahead or just keep the complaint open, they will automatically after some will open FF account directly without even needing to open 10k account, just say them very politely nothing else.

Can you confirm that you Opened Future First directly or first opened 10k account then converted
Don't fall for the trap, always open FF directly. Like @Z_S

I visited the branch at 1 pm today and asked for Future First Savings Account. They were referring this account as student account then they open there Tablet and I guided them through the process as it was not available under Savings Account Category rather in Salary Account Category. Then I entered Adhaar Pan and all basic details and after 2 mins a sms came that salary account has been created with IDFC Bank. I logged in the app and funded the account with 1000.
The branch staff was quite helpful and they haven't asked for any type of proof. Deputy Manager given his personal contact and said if any issue is there then I can contact him directly.

Fastest Account opening and activation process for me and very helpful branch staff.
