So, IDFC FIRST Bank has finally started offering credit limit increase to their cardholders.
Did they ask for ITR as well? Do you have IDFC account as well or just cc?
My bad!! I was so into wealth card that I didn’t see your question properly haha. Honestly I don’t have an idea about that. But my select card limit was 4L plus if that helps
They usually ask for ITR and that is the easiest and faster method of getting your card upgraded. AFAIK they don’t consider other banks card for C2C upgrade.
I do have an account with that but I don’t think that makes a difference as I tried last year to upgrade my card and also threatened to close my card and account and it clearly did not work.
So how you got upgrade ? Based on Salary slip & ITR or C2C Basis?

Drop an email for the upgrade request. They’ll ask for last 3 months salary slips. I’d say give it a shot.
My current Limit on IDFC select is 4 Lakh and I enquired for upgrade to wealth in IDFC branch and Branch manager told me they will take request once limit reach 5 Lakh
That’s the unsaid rule. You have two options. Wait for limit increases or send your salary or ITR to increase the limit and then request for an upgrade
If one already has 5L+ limit and for upgrade they ask salary slips, any idea what's base salary requirements for Wealth card upgrade?
Don’t know the salary requirements but I have 1.10L per month. With 5L plus limit you should get an upgrade. First try without salary proofs. If that doesn’t work then share the salary and ask for an upgrade
