Day by day this card getting weirder .
I am purchasing grocery from same store and getting reward for that till now.
I used cred pay app for same.
But last month i used bhim app.
Surprisingly there is no reward for same shop transaction for last month.
Customer care clueless.

Every fuel card is like this. It is much better and hassle free to use normal credit card with fuel surcharge waiver for this for peace of mind.

hands down to amazon pay cc its the best for fuel spends. 100% fuel surcharge waiver (No CAP) only need to pay GST.

Why does it not say "Looks like you've fueled up"? Can you ask the customer care for this?

They are saying to wait for T+8 days for any information regarding this. On asking MCC code, they told it's 9399

According to NPCI website 9399 is Government Services, Not Elsewhere Classified which in no sense is related HP Pay other than its a PSU that's why. I think its by mistake. Let's wait then

I have been eyeing power plus card for sometime but am wondering if its worth with all the reward points hassles.

What is the opinion of card owners?

Also, anybody registered for the rupay select offers like big basket and others? Additional 200rs off at Bigbasket improves this cards usability for groceries.

Don't get the card for the rupay select offer as only the above card are able to access that portal.

Other than that if Hp Pay issue is resolved and if we get fuel reward points for the transaction on hp pay then its a worthwhile card.

If Hp Pay transaction is considered for fuel as earlier then -
5% Value Back from IDFC
- 0.85% Convience Fee for wallet load on hp pay
+ 1.5% as Happy Coins on Wallet Load + Wallet Transaction+ Additional points credited after 45 days.

This brings the total value back to 5.65% which is great. And on tap and pay its 3.82% after removing fuel surcharge and gst on it which is not too good.

Remember it charges Inr 99+ Gst for reward redemption.

So IDFC is giving around 4% then its ok. I think once the new Devaluation t&c comes into effect this should increase to 5% as there is no fuel surcharge charged on hp pay and we will get extra reward

Yes that is the convience fees of payment gateway of 0.85% the fuel surcharge is 1% + gst which is 1.18%

Referring to the T&C posted in the following thread. Utility payments above 20k per month will attract 1%+GST and now there is no more accelerated reward points of effective 5% value back on grocery and utility payment so I don't think it makes sense anyways.

It's story of every fuel credit card.

You'll get RP for groceries transaction only if mcc is 5411. I've tried 5 to 6 groceries shops and only 1 had this mcc. Others were tagged as shopping or bakery shops. Also this card in not working on phonepe qr, atleast for me.
