Income tax payment Via MRCC

In context for amex MRCC card.
I could see we can pay via credit card and TXN charges seems to be 1(0.94)% to 3.2% depending upon payment gateway. PFA Images of changes.

I have few doubts questions:

• Does advance income tax payment via e-tax portal count as utility ?
  • my informed guess is yes if some can confirm as via SBI casbback card i got 1% cashback in past.
• Does this is count toward 20K monthly milestone?

As I have to pay 20k in advance taxes every month. I was hoping above route will be quite optimum if below thing hold true.?

I could get 1K MR point(20k milestone) + 1K if i split in 4 TXN each of 5k​

so is 2K MR point achievable this way around 4% -1%(payment gateway charges)= ~3% net reward​

If anyone has tried of aware about it can help it would be great!!

U can get 2k points only
Think of the Miss of 400 points per month since spend on Fuel, Insurance, Utilities not give points in MRCC
So ur Miss will be 4800 MRs per annum

Which gateway to choose if you want to pay using Amex?
As far as I know, Amex cannot be used to pay Income Tax
