I sent this link to my cousin, and he applied, card was approved with 0 joining and annual fees.
However if bank denies LTF later, he will ask for money from me. 😅😅

Bhai jada se jada kya ho jayega. Charge lag jayenge. Bamboo karoge via rbi to reverse bhi ho jayenge aur compensation bhi milega. As aptly said by @souvikdey2002 every mistake by the bank or its agents is an opportunity for compensation 🤣

Yes because you have applied as LTF card. That application form is proof for it... After raising complaint to rbi ombudsman, kotak will call us asap to fulfill the LTF...
If it doesn't happen, don't activate card... After 30 days it will be deactivated automatically.

But Many ppl have confirmed kotak white as LTF with cc.. About 10 pages back in this same post.

The welcome letter is for White Card only and is the same as the paid one. The only benefit we won't get is the welcome benefit of Rs 1,500 on spending of Rs 30,000.

All the other benefits are the same. Don't worry😎

I went looking at my Kotak card offers just now because of this post and while there was no White card, found a limit enhancement offer for my League to ~4.5L from my current 60k (valid till 31st). So, thanks 😀

How old was your Kotak League CC? Do you have a Bank account with them? TIA

Customer care guys dont know about it as its a new offer. They are usually I'll informed. If you get charged the joining fee complain to rbi with the application proof. Even if they have issued LTF due to some mistake they are bound to keep it LTF because the application says so

I also have it on email from their team that it is ltf (apart from the application form).
doesn't matter if it is a new campaign and bank employees don't know about it... in the backend, it is tagged as ltf and any customer care exec checking it will see it as ltf.

The letter does not have a fee section. The application form is sufficient proof that it is LTF

They have not given email Id for support just a link in WhatsApp https://www.kotak.com/en/customer-service/contact-us/email-us.html which directs email support through form on their website.

What they are saying is if you don't have relationship then it's not ltf
