Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

Can the Post edit access be provided to someone else as well @TechnoFino , coz OP may not be available all the times to update the details and someone who is interested can keep updating the post, this will save lot of hassle for someone to go through all the 170 Pages as of now on this post.

Or a Post Wiki Can be created which can be edited by reputed members only and can be updated any time

Can anyone confirm this is this correct or IDFC still giving RP ? Coz SBI Unipay is Utility MCC and not CC Bill payment

@6ix9ine @sm9811911
Actually issue is not with the SBI Unipay, instead IDFC is the culprit. People have to manually send them emails and then request for points.

If you tell the idfc, that you made a payment for CC bill. They will simply state "points will not be rewarded for CC bill payment"

If you tell the idfc, that you made a utility bill payment and you still didn't receive points. They will look into it.

It depends on how people convey their message to the customer executive.

Ps: I don't hold any of the idfc cards, all the information which I wrote above is what I've seen in the forum. There are couple of idfc threads, where people have written their issues and how they fixed them.

You should say we have made purchases offline at point of sale. Or say we have made a purchase for some services, like home renovation plans coaching mentoring etc.
Detailed modus to use -

1) First ask them the MCC code of the transaction. Wait for their response.
2) MERGE this with the terms and conditions page highlighting excluded mcc
3) tell me you made merchant purchases online.
4) ask for eligible reward points as mcc is eligible.

No need to even tell that you have done credit card payments. Just tell them you did not get points for the reward point eligible transactions. As simple as that. Nobody is going to ask you what type of transaction you have done if you are not abusing it. One time I did some cumulative payments around 1.5L(across different txns) so raised a request after 14 days and received the points.

Hi bro can you please share the links of those posts.

I pay using SBI RuPay DC, works on amex site too. Gives very poor reward rate but this is all that is working for now.
Use IDFC RuPay Platinum Debit Card (or apply 2nd IDFC Debit Card - RuPay Sticker Firstap Platinum Debit Card) on Amex website for credit card bill payment.

Reward Rate:-

IDFC First Bank RuPay Platinum Debit Card-

Online- 0.33%
Offline- 0.17%
10X category- 1.67%
Incremental spends above Rs. 50,000: Online- 1.67%; Offline- 1.67%

That's right.
I told them "I used my DC for transactions on this date. Please credit the rewards"

No other questions were asked.

One question. Are the rewards of debit cards get clubbed in IDFC? [Wealth Debit + Rupay Sticker Debit]
Till now I have not seen any rewards on rupay platinum sticker yet. How to check for it.
