Ongoing issues
(1)
For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.
Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/...-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html
SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-option/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.
(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.
(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.
(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

Use IDFC RuPay Platinum Debit Card (or apply 2nd IDFC Debit Card - RuPay Sticker Firstap Platinum Debit Card) on Amex website for credit card bill payment.

Reward Rate:-

IDFC First Bank RuPay Platinum Debit Card-

Online- 0.33%
Offline- 0.17%

Incremental spends above Rs. 50,000: Online- 1.67%; Offline- 1.67%

@lightwaves
Have you checked if it gives reward points on cc payment too? Because I think mcc would be either of wallet or cc bill payment and these are in barred category as per their website.
If it is giving Reward points, which mcc does it give? Utility?.

Update -

I just got this info - IDFC Wealth account holders are not receiving any rewards from the RuPay Sticker Firstap Platinum debit card.

Reason - In a Wealth account, rewards are only earned with the Wealth card.

In other regular savings accounts - both the Primary Visa/RuPay card + 2nd RuPay Sticker Firstap Platinum Debit Card will earn reward points.

This info is shared by one Wealth account holder; the rest of you can check it out for yourselves.

I've paid SBI bill in unipay (before log-in) using IDFC Debit card. After successful transaction (shown in a temp screen), the page never refreshed. Now money is debited from idfc account but not credited to sbi card. Already sent them a mail with bank statement. Have anyone faced this recently? thanks in advance.

it seems SBI Unipay have become a cause of head-ache

wrong. all debit cards are treated as wealth card for rewards purpose.
RuPay Sticker Firstap Platinum Debit Card will earn reward points.
RPs are determined based on MCC code, with IDFC the Amex Billdesk PG comes under excluded code.

Once the MCC code is eligible for RPs, the % will be determined based on account/card variant.

All of this is told to me by the head of their rewards team.

So no rewards for paying Amex bills ?

It has also happened with me in past. And manually refreshing the page had solved the issue.

I need to pay ~2L CC Bill across 3 Credit Cards. Has anyone recently made CC bill payment through IDFC Wealth DC via SBI Unipay and got reward points? There are many posts saying ppl got Cash back and few saying that they have not received cashback. So a bit confused.
