Any idea...why rent payments using Amex card failing? Should I pay rent in education fee category to see the transaction is successful?

The App is buggy. Rent Payments using Amex always fails. I tried via Education Payment but the payment fails saying there is a problem with receiver's bank account. The same payment on the same account works just fine on other portals.

Are you saying rent comes under utility? In Amex T&C for Plat Travel Card, they mention utility as electricity, water and gas bills only

Will update here on what is the case once it is credited to my landlord's account.
