Mobikwik Changed MCC to 6540(Prepaid Load) for Credit card payment

Hi Guys,
I recently paid my credit card bill of around 1k from Mobikwik using DCB and found that Mobikwik have changed their MCC for credit card payment to 6540 which is for prepaid loads.
Merchant Name was changed to ONE MOBIKWIK SYSTEMS(MCC 6540) earlier it was ONE MOBIKWIK SYSTEMS PRMUMBAI (which have utility MCC) - Payment was settled on 20th June so if anyone else have tried payment recently, pls check and share if you are facing the same thing.


!! No More rewards points if someone was using!! FYI pls.

Not sure how it will affect for payments done via debit card. Usually we would use it for 1% benefit while paying through HDFC Platinum DC as credit card payment was considered under utility.

How do I pay my hdfc credit card bill with colleagues millennia debit card?

Just do it via Paytm or MobiKwik. You'll get 1% cashback. But it'll get credited after 90 days.

I faced one more issue, I'm not able to pay my onecard bill through mobiquik via HDFC platinum DC. Got failed 4 times. Any particular reason?

Actually the issue is with Mobikwik. They've changed its merchant category for cc Billpay from Utility to Wallet. Now none of the card would work for MobiKwik except Millenia DC coz it fetches 1% cashback on wallet MCC.

Alternative is HDFC Billpay portal. But you won't be able to pay HDFC, IDFC, AU bills from there.

Bonus, you'll get points super quick. If you do any. I prepaid 6k bill in advance yesterday to clear my upcoming due, got points already morning.
