You should have objected and got it restored back as you were sanctioned the original limit according to your profile and i dont see any reason for it to have been reduced unless there were some other issues

I had applied on 1 Sept, and completed vkyc on 11th sept. after that I haven't received any communication.

Finally the card got approved and Virtual Card Issued today. No limit shared from existing card, so bank issued this card with new limit.
It took more than 10 days for whole process.

It was applied under Refer & Earn scheme and it is showing Approved under Referrar, so expecting 500rs voucher for both of us after 60 days and meeting 500 spend criteria. So 50% fees for next year will get recovered via Refer n Earn

Applied for CASHBACK SBI Card on 14th Sept, Did digilocker process but didn't get instant virtual card. Application got submitted and received application number.

Yesterday (15th Sept) received an SMS from SBI regarding agent details.

Today (16th Sept) Agent visited home for verification did aadhaar authentication and esign process later made me to a signature on FORM but he tried to trick me to make me sign for SIMPLY CLICK card fortunately I observed and asked him didn't apply for SIMPLY CLICK then later he gave me SBI CASHBACK CARD FORM.

Did anyone faced this kind of issue?

When I try to apply in Sprint website, my city is not in the list. Does SBI has limited serviceable area for credit cards?

There are 2 SBI banks in my city. One original SBI and another acquired via merger with state bank of patiala.

Yes if the city isn't serviceable, they won't give u cards. Even if there is sbi bank in your area, they won't do.

You will get final confirmation within 21 days.

There is no standard pattern with SBI mate. My advice is just dont sweat over it. Some have got their card appoved in 10 minutes, some got even their physical card delivered in5 days flat and some have been getting in 11days message for last 11 days. Some have even got rejected after verbal approval over phones. Dont think ever in my life i would have ever checked sbis website/app/sms @ 20 times an hour for my card approval(n mind u hv bn their cutomer for over 3 years and dont think have used there app for actual transactions that much)guess the mantra having applied now is just to let go and not watse time fretting over approval or next message. Must say these sarkari banks are something

Now a days this Form verification procedure is done online (NESL-LU). However if the online verification does not work. They go with 2nd option - Physical form Scan and Upload. However they still run around with old Forms where CASHBACK option was not available. (in my experience)

Something similar happened with me. Agent asked me to sign on simply click, but I am already carrying simply click. So I refused to sign. Then he asked me to sign in simply save column. He said card is decided from backend and form for cashback card are not printed yet. So, sign anywhere, it doesn't matter. They just need a sign
