Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

Federal was already on BBPS, did you have failure on that ?

I just paid IDFC, Federal and AMEX bills through Unipay.
Everything got credited. But faced payment failures two times in between.
If you are not in a hurry, hold on and pay tomo or day after.

Nope. I got once while paying IDFC and once while paying AMEX. Then retried and done.

I tried to pay 50K for my Apay ICICI and the transaction failed on Unipay.

Amount has been debited. Hope I get 1% for this failed transaction 😂😂

Yes paid from imobile pay through savings balance. Settled instantly.

How are u guys paying icici credit card bill meanwhile? SBI unipay deducted amount and then stated invalid biller id. I tried re-adding in HDFC Billpay but it also said invalid biller id. Now my due date is 07 July so I am wondering if I should clear it off by icici netbanking 🤔

RBI's circular was confusing for banks and fintech companies as well. That's way few of them have stopped while others have continued.

Cred payments also should be done via bbps right and if hdfc is not live on bbps then how come we are able to pay via cred but not via Paytm?
Is it lack of compliance by cred?

Cred enables settlement via imps n neft n others don't have it n they go via bbps

Should be processed automatically. Even though I did it deliberately, knowing that the transaction would fail, I will at least earn 1% on it. 😂😂😂

If the refund is not processed in T+5 days, I will raise a complaint and demand compensation of ₹100/day as per RBI guidelines.😛

True that. But whosoever tried paying HDFC CC bill through CRED, did you try to pay through IndusInd Visa DC?

How did you paid bill your bill in sbi Unipay using HDFC account ? In my Unipay it is only showing my own sbi savings account option to pay the ammount...!!!
Also Don't you need to pay the bill from HDFC Platinum DC to avail the 1% CB ???
