Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

should be refunded in 2-3 days.

My SBI Card payment failed as well through Gpay. Gotta keep patience for next 4-5 days. I am expecting multiple refunds.

What a mess RBI and banks created, a week later we will be chasing on how to pay electricity bill payments with Amazon pay balance and there won't be quick fixes given the way how state dept.'s work.

I paid Standard Chartered and Axis' card bills via HDFC. Worked fine and it's already credited too!

I think that might be a technical issue. Relaunching the app should help or use Net Banking.
