Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

Yes, It's working now. I was able to add ICICI and it also showed the due amount, but was not able to make the payment due to the cooling period.

As a new biller is added, Making payments to it is failing, citing the reason: "You can initiate transactions up to Rs 10, 000/- after a 2-hour cooling period."

I did payment also after cooling period of 2 hrs ended. Maybe they're not properly integrated yet so you're facing issue

What a mess RBI and banks created, a week later we will be chasing on how to pay electricity bill payments with Amazon pay balance and there won't be quick fixes given the way how state dept.'s work.

It take about a month Ig..
If you get it before 30 days,we are very lucky.. If it is more than a month, then we remember that it is State Govt again...!!
