Not able to open IDFC bank account online

I am trying to get a idfc bank account before they start charging for debit card .
But they are telling like my aadhar address is not serviceable and i need to put different address as communications address. Not sure if they will ask for address proof.

There is no branch of idfc in my city as of now.

Can any one suggest if there is any option.

afaik idfc assigns the branch automatically when applying online based in your aaadhar address. ie near to your aadhar address. and i think they are not going to charge for debit card which they planned

Yes, but i am getting like your aadhar location is not servicable.

Looks like there is no branch near your aadhar address. U have to update Aadhar address or wait

You will have to use the app to open the account and if you have been using the buy now pay later services powered by idfc bank you must be having customer id already(tracethat through idfc bank website log in> get customer id ) assigned to you, use that cust id in the app and get your new account opened, you can update your contact address later.

This is the way I opened my account as my native 370435 also did not have idfc branch.

IDFC First Bank don't ask for address proof if you open online. You can put any address there.

You can choose any address - the address you put or your permanent address. They will ask where you want your kit.

Credit card is a different department, if the area is not serviceable then it's difficult unless your branch manager pushes your case.

We both live in a Non-serviceable city (i checked recently) , yet due to being IDFC First account holder ... we got the offer !

This happens same with me i live in Uttar Pradesh but there is no Branch in my city and i am currently working in Delhi and i just open the account online and after opening the account i get this same message. And i just visit the branch and do KYC and give him a Singed Copy of Aadhaar Card that's it. My Account Working Normal. And i also get my debit card and cheque book in my Delhi Address within 7 days.

I didnt do much transactions on the account . So , it took 1.5 yrs but I've seen people get it in 3-4 months , if you are transacting well !

I am maintaining 2 2.5L in My account and use this account regularly and i also do trading and investing through IDFC Zerodha 3 in 1 Account.
