PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

Hi people I saw you all trying very hard for pnb cards and I have to say I am also in the same boat as some of you. Applied for PNB Rupay Platinum on 4th or 5th of October. Today (i.e. 12th October) I received a message saying my application was lying discrepant.
Contacted customer care- within a minute of call I was speaking to the executive so no waiting time (yayy) he told me to send itr copy of last two years on email (ccpc@pnb.co.in) along with necessary details like uarn, phone number etc.
I asked him do I need to send the pdf of the ITR [because as someone mentioned here (or maybe somewhere else) that the pdf that we download from Income tax website has text in it and is often not recognised by the AI software that runs the application] or what so he said not the pdf but to take out a print out of the same and then do a photocopy (he probably meant scan) and to send the photocopy.
Now I only have one question which I should’ve asked him but because I didn’t I’m gonna ask here. what to send in ITR? the whole ITR form which is like 65-70 pages or just the itr acknowledgment which is one page document.?

Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Formatting.

Now I only have one quest

ITR is 60-70 pages? Are you sure? I just checked mine its 6-7 pages each for past 3 years. Just go to Income Tax website and you can download it from there.

So what I understand that banks need ITR to see your income, if the one pager contains the income then you can share the one pager. 60-70 pages is insane. Is this ITR for business or job?
Okay. Well ITR Acknowledgement does contain my Net Total Income but that is quite less lol. The whole ITR Form (100 pages) has the whole Gross Income and all the deductions and expenses but the acknowledgement which I have submitted only has the Net Total Income. Let's see what happens. If they accept these I might get a lower credit limit but I'm alright with that. I just hope my net total income is not so low that they reject my application for the card.

And yes this ITR is for Business. ITR-3.

Yes absolutely! Good Luck! 🙂

Trick for sharing ITR to PNB :

As most people encountered , the ITR form always gets bounced quoting the reason that Policy is violated . This is because, ITR pdf (download from IncomeTax portal) is based on text format and when PNB reading this pdf (by some automated tools) - it is sensing some confidential information in it, and their email policy restricting this email to deliver to PNBcreditcard team.

Solution :

Print ITR and scan it in pdf and then send it to PNB. As it is scanned ITR pdf, the data in it won't be text format. Make sure to have lesser DPI to make the scanned pdf less in size .

I tried this method (the pdf came around 4MB after scanning) and successfully sent this to PNB without any policy violation .
did you scan all the pages of the ITR as in the whole ITR form or just the ITR Acknowledgement? Asking because my ITR form is like 113 pages or so.

Well, got through the process and now can feel what everyone was saying! Seems like PNB is working on a totally different level. Have not done so much documentation since the flat registry. And yes video KYC is the ultimate PNB test. I got connected through call still screen was displaying the message "Äll executives are busy at the moment". Then another message "Already connected with the executive" but I could not see anyone. Then call automatically disconnected and it was showing "7 second call duration". Finally, in the fourth attempt, the actual executive got online for the KYC process which went well. Now waiting for the next horror story season!

Get ready with your ITR from last two years, you will soon receive an email stating that "Your application is laying discrepant, please share ITR from last two years". Sharing the ITR with them is another challenge in itself as PNB's security policies reject any email containing the attachment with personal details. The hack is to convert the ITR PDF pages into images and recreate the PDF with those images and share them with PNB.

Should we upload signed ITR document? Today I received email regarding discrepant application and they requested for signed and scanned ITR copies of 2 years.
I also thought I should send signed copies but I had already scanned them so I didn’t bother to scan it again, I just sent them the ITR Acknowledgement Page of last two years scanned as jpeg. most of the people here have sent it as pdf. If they’ll require it again I’ll send them the signed ones. Also a tip- Send the mail to both creditcardpnb@pnb.co.in and creditcardpnb2@pnb.co.in and add these two mails care@pnb.co.in and ccpc@pnb.co.in in CC.

Thanks. Had already gone through your earlier inputs. So as soon as my video KYC was completed, I mailed ITR to all the mentioned email ID's in this thread. Got confirmation of the document receipt from one of mail ID. Let's see what more they need, keeping minimum expectations!
