Can any one share the experience with Punjab national bank credit cards?

I really wanted to apply PNB Rupay Platinum(don't have even one rupay card) but I am very anxious seeing the delays and hardships faced by members who probably have much better itr and cibil than me. The enquiry amount in cibil is still equal to your annual income ? @TechnoFino Please help.

If you want to get Rupay card easily go for BOB, it's pretty smooth. PNB process sucks.

I recently applied for Bob and selected easy variant as I didn't want to increase my chances of rejection. Only yesterday it was approved. But I made the mistake then and don't realise that easy doesn't always come in rupay.

Send email to BOB crm mail id and BOB credit card twitter handle. Told them to issue only RuPay variant card.

Yes VISA or MAster can be converted to Rupay.

Now BOB stopped card network conversion for new card users. Your card should be 1 year old to eligible for card network conversion.

So, before card issue contact BOB and ask for RuPay variant or you can also convert to BOB Snapdeal RuPay credit card (this is best card for all online spend and rewards cashabck directly credit to card statement).

I will try for pnb rupay platinum in Jan . But I know my approval chances are less but I will give it a shot. I have to wait anyway for one year anyway.

But even after 7 days no response..
Is it normal from PNB side for having this much delay with no communication ?

This is quite normal, your wait has not been started. It took me more than two months to get my hands on the PNB Platinum card.
