Can any one share the experience with Punjab national bank credit cards?

I also got this approval sms today. After more than 1 month and submitting ITR 5 times.

Rupay select is best...

• Annual fee – NIL ( if card is used one in a quarter) even 1rs of transaction is enough.

Although, there is joining fee, right?

An update: today got call from PNB Team, wherein they re-confirmed about card application and if VKYC done.

I asked them if there will be a verification call and they said it depends - somethings not done if all documents are good.

Learnt that we can track status in PNB Genie app. TAT as per executive was 15-25 days

you wont get any kyc update, but you'll soon get mail regarding ITR.

Yes, ITR from last two years are required despite sharing the salary slips.

I have been waiting for mine since last 1 and a half months, others have gotten theirs in at least a month's time.

Received email confirmation that they have received ITR. Let's see how many days they will take to process after this.

Already 23 days over from application date.

Trust me - even this offline application process also kind of painful .

When enquired recently about application status , they had quoted below reason ...

I was under the impression that since PNB just started their online portal for applying credit cards, hence the users are facing issues with it, but glitches in their offline process now tells a different story altogether. Looks like entire system is lethargic to the core and online/offline doesn't matter at all.

Also this compels me to appreciate what Neerav Modi did to them.

Yes, it looks like their credit card system for onboarding customers requires huge margin of improvement. I'm not sure if other members of this community applied offline and got approval without much hassle

Mostly applied online here.

Applied on 16th July. Application approved on 7th September. I sent my income docs atleast 7-8 times but after some days every time they told me to send income docs again and again. I sent the last email containing Income docs on 24th August and on 29th August they again told me to send income docs. I really gave up that time and I haven't sent any mail thereafter. But accidentally I received an SMS regarding approval of my application on 7th of September. I just shocked to see the message. Kudos to PNB credit card team for their pathetic service but at last they approved my application.

Your post gives the rest of us hopes to get card sometime in distant future after going through frustrating wait
