I was under the impression that since PNB just started their online portal for applying credit cards, hence the users are facing issues with it, but glitches in their offline process now tells a different story altogether. Looks like entire system is lethargic to the core and online/offline doesn't matter at all.I applied through PNB branch by considering the issues reported while applying online. This has been already close 30 days since application submitted.
Trust me - even this offline application process also kind of painful .
When enquired recently about application status , they had quoted below reason ...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Application is lying discrepant due to “Application not recommended and verified by branch”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have been in contact with branch manager to get this sorted out ..
Mostly applied online here.Yes, it looks like their credit card system for onboarding customer requires huge margin of improvement. I'm not sure if the members of this community applied offline and got approval without much hassle
