RBIO: Received compensation of Rs. 20,000 from Axis Bank

Kaunsi century ki baat ho rahi hain ye?

Aaj ke jamane mein passbook leke in person branch visit karke DC block 🤣 kaunsi bank and kaunsi branch karwata hai?

Withdrawal kaise huwa purchase karke ya fund transfer karke? SMS scammer ke paas ja raha hoga...

If manager ko call kiye the recording hai and uske kuch time ke baad baaki ke paise withdraw huwe hain then bank can be held responsible as well.

Lekin wo uncle ko DC and PIN share karne se pehle BM ko call karna tha share karne ke baad nahi 😬
Sorry, I read that line wrong. I read it as PIN NO, OTP.

Now my question is how was the money withdrawn? From ATM or online transfer. If online transfer what was the mode? NEFT/IMPS/RTGS/UPI?

I am curious about the same.

Most likely some purchases or if not, fund transfer, I guess.

RE vide it's submission stated that the customer's forex card was blocked because of Multiple CIF IDs for a single individual. The same was intimated to the customer. However, due to delay in rectifying of the same there was a delay in loading of foreign currency (GBP) in the forex card of the complainant.

What’s this? Firstly, multiple CIF IDs shouldn’t have been created by the system. Serious technical gap. Even after the creation of another CIF ID and issuance of card, it shouldn’t have been blocked. Instead, the new CIF was supposed to be revoked, and all the products were supposed to be linked with the old CIFs, without causing inconvenience. But Axis has some other way. 😂

BO didn’t cover the complaint details nicely. Bas bank ka submission likhna hai nonsense hi kyu na ho 😂 har wakt ayesa dikhata hai ki technical glitches/bugs/issues ke bajah se huwa jisme hamara koi galti nahi tha bas ho gaya😂

5 din pura ho jata paisa credit huwa ki nahi puch ke uske baad close karta if credit ho jata toh? Itne dino se open tha kuch nahi 5 din aur rehta toh kya? Dusri baat jab Bank khud se offer diya toh 5 din kis chiz mein laga raha? 😂 NEFT/IMPS karo instant ya 30-60 mins mein ho jayenge, paperwork/ Accounting baad mein khudke liye karte baithe

Close kar de rahe hain, solve nahu huwa toh dubara new complaint karna, waah 😂
Good analysis of BO's response. I must say I agree to all your points.

On multiple CIFs, when I asked bank's representative why card was blocked? Why did they need my approval for merging CIFs he told me it is as per RBI's instruction. God only knows who says what. Nobody knows the rules.

Actually, if the RBI were performing its duties well as a regulator, controller, and supervisor, these regulated entities (banks) would not dare to violate any directions or guidelines.

Most of the time complaint is not heard properly with due diligence and without being unbiased.

Mere, 10-20k is nothing against the turnover/profit maximization by violating the rules and regulations. That's why, they just keep repeating same thing again and again, same continues in a loop.

They just blabbered whatever they liked, why didn't you ask them to show that particular instruction, by exercising right to information. 🙂

Again what could be expected other than nonsense. 🤣 Meaningless!

Is there any way to send a reminder to RBIO ? RBL and Stanchart have been sitting over my complaint for last 3 months.

This guy is Forex SPOC for Eastern Region for my organization. When I started cornering him, he started blaming it on the branch. I don't know from where branch came into the picture. All branch was supposed to do was take the signed form from me after verifying my ID. But when I reached branch, I was told nothing needs to be done, process already initiated.

After ending my spree in May I lodged 2 fresh complaints against Axis and HSBC in September.

HSBC has paid me Rs. 1000 but the complaint is still open as it was done arbitrarily by HSBC. They simply added 1000 to my CC account and sent me a mail stating that a compensation of Rs. 1000 has been paid for the delay in dispatch of the addon card. Will update when the case is resolved.

This thread is focused on my Axis Bank complaint.

Axis bank blocked my Forex card without any intimation. Below is my complaint to Axis Bank PNO:

To which I received the below response:

Those of you who know me, know for sure that I won't spare them so easily. So, I logged a complaint with RBIO on 7th September. While complaining to RBIO, I increased my compensation demand from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 50,000.

Received mail from RBIO on 30th October for conciliation meeting on 11th November. Then got a call from the lady of the local branch of Axis Bank on 6th November with a request to consider a compensation of Rs. 20,000 instead of my demanded amount of Rs. 50,000. I agreed on condition of immediate settlement and without the need to attend the conciliation meeting. They asked for 5 days to settle the amount and confirmed the same through official mail. Intimated RBIO by mail that we have reached an agreement and he may please call off the meeting. Axis bank has also done the same. Received below closure mail from RBIO this morning.

Just to know.. had the conciliation meeting taken place, where would it have taken place? Digitally or physically?

Point to ponder is that even after this incident they created another CIF for me when Citi Bank Cards were merged. I mailed to the same lady in the branch and this time she was able to merge the CIFs without any blocking - although it took roughly around a month. Finally I am able to see all my 6 CC's and the Forex card under one login in the Open app.

For this, their KMPs & back-end are majorly responsible. And the one who is heading & supervising it. And hence it's proved! 👇

Please share the details
I had 3 ELSS running from 2016. All of a sudden one SI failed and stop deducting from my account. I took up the matter with SBI and they failed to provide me anything satisfactory. So I lodged a complaint with RBIBO stating that their system and controls have failed due to which my SI failed. I asked for a compensation of 10k and got the same from SBI.

Nice, I wish I had the time and patience for this. Axis bank has been so frustrating. Most recently I requested credit limit increase, they said to send latest income docs, sent and no response, followed up a month later and again they're asking to send latest income docs. If only there was a service that would take banks to task on your behalf.

I too have filed a complaint against Axis bank with the BO. The current status is "Complaint in Process With RBI / Regulated Entity", let's see what the outcome is.

They are taking the full 5 days. Just now I sent a reminder stating tomorrow is the deadline for the credit to my account and received immediate reply stating tomorrow is a bank holiday, the amount will be credited on Saturday.

I don't think one needs a lot of time or patience for this. One mail to Axis PNO - takes 10-15 min to draft the same. Modify that same mail and draft the narration for RBIO - another 10-15 min to log the complaint. 20-30 min is all you need.

They don't know how due date is calculated. 😂

When due date falls on public holiday which is known in advance/declared in advance (in other words, it's not a unforseen holiday), due date shall be deemed to be on the preceding day but not on next following day.

Actually it is not a due date. They mentioned 5 working days, so at least in this case they are right 😂
