RBIO: Received compensation of Rs. 20,000 from Axis Bank

Actually it is not a due date. They mentioned 5 working days, so at least in this case they are right 😂
Oh they have mentioned it as working day, then it's ok.

But though, it could have been sent on the same day. Why sending on last/5th working/ business day?🤣

P S: 2nd and last Saturday is also holiday for banks.

She wouldn't dare to do so. This is the same lady from the local branch who requested me to consider 20K instead of 50K.

She must have thought that I was giving empty threats when I told her back then that I will take compensation for this. She and PNO even ignored my 10K demand and then she had to plead me to accept 20K 🤣🤣🤣

After complaining in the Rbi Ombudsman,Banks take the matter very seriously and try to solve the matter.
Now when can I demand compensation?
Or Rbi itself will order the bank to give compensation if they find the case serious?

Possible outcome could have been anything. Bank could have started by saying technical glitch, only 3 days delay, no compensation please.

BO would have decided on the compensation amount, we are not aware of any parameters for that. It could have been anything between 0 and 50K. But since Axis bank agreed to pay 20K so easily, I would think the compensation through BO in all probability would have been northwards of 20K.

You have to demand compensation while filing the complaint.

Unauthorised Savings acc in my number
I have two savings acc in sbi.
Recently I found another acc in my number which is not mine.
I don't know the person either
But his account is inoperative state.
I demanded 50k
Asked to delink my number from that person's savings account

I have raised complaint in RBIO, next day branch manager called me and told he is taking the matter seriously.
But I think the case is quite serious,so I don't want to miss the money 🤣

near about 20k
little less than 20k
or little more than 20k?

You just need to sit and watch, RBI will do the rest. If the branch manager resolves this then perhaps they may try to negotiate on amount or resolve this complaint without paying anything.

@sjmajumder can comment better on your case, luckily I never faced this issue, but learnt alot from his posts.
