SBI Cashback credit card official benefits revised w.e.f. 1st May 2023

REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD:

With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your CASHBACK SBI Card:

A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:

Category	Merchant Category Code (MCC)
Jewelry	5051, 5094, 5944, 7631
School & Educational Services	5111, 5192, 5942, 5943, 8211, 8220, 8241, 8244, 8249, 8299, 8351
Utilities	4814, 4900, 9399, 4816, 4899
Insurance Services	5960, 6300, 6381
Card, Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Shops	5947
Member Financial Institution/Quasi Cash	6011, 6012, 6051
Railways	4011, 4112

The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the Networks without any requirement for intimation/information to the customers.

B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will be capped at `5000.

C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

Guys, has SBI stopped giving 5% cashback done on paytm murchant link? I did 1,000 Rs. txn after generating payment link from my paytm business app and paid through my SBI cashback cc, didn't get any cashback on that.....

What Merchant name you got while doing transaction?
And what is the merchant name on settled transaction on app?

Yes It Counts under Apparel MCC- 5699
It should be "One97 Communications Limi"

I think now available options are Smart buy insta voucher purchase with HDFC credit card and Amazon pay ICICI card on Amazon website. Amazon card will accrue only 2% cash back . HDFC Smart but will attract charges 1.25% + GST on AGC purchase. So net savings will be 3.5% with my HDFC card. Is there any better idea? Need to purchase more than 60k AGC. I don't have super premium credit cards.

Try Magicpin. If you are lucky, you will get Pay with Rewards(Twid) as a Payment mode.
When you use Cashback SBI on Twid you will get 5% CashBack as well as Payback points which are Bonus

Yes. Chances are more. SBI took my SBI Simply click reward points back after 6 months. As per them reversal should happen only after 01/01/2023 onwards transactions. But my reward points which was accumulated before October 2022 also reversed.

As of now Magicpin is the only option, for getting 5% on AGV via Cashback SBI

Do not know why I am only getting multiple payment modes on Magicpin and others are getting only UPI.
Check with different Magicpin Accounts or with Freinds Magicpin Accounts
