SBI Unipay: Credit Card Bill Payments Failed - Customers Struggle with Refunds

I paid HDFC CC bill using HDFC DC on SBI Unipay today & transaction went successfully but not visible in transaction history. What can be done?
Anyone else facing this issue?

Just wait, if it was successful then will get credited in the next few days. You should have downloaded the receipt from the transaction successful page and also should have taken screenshots of the payment confirmation page.

Receipt download was not possible as it was logged out immediately after success msg (I have the success screenshot)
 
What I've observed is, the SBI Unipay portal is using BillDesk's services for processing credit card bill payments. So, if you're having any issues with your credit card bill payments and SBI isn't responding to you, you could contact BillDesk as well, and mention the reference number(s) provided in the SBI Unipay portal to them.
 
shit! did 1,33L trnx and it got failed and amount got debited too.. what the turned out time for refund?

I am still awaiting on my refund, its been 3 working days , thinking to wait for another 2 days before dropping mail to SBI

With reference to the trail mail, said transaction are failed and refund for the same will be processed to customer account in next 3-4 working days.”

I am still awaiting on my refund, its been 3 working days , thinking to wait for another 2 days before dropping mail to SBI

It takes either 4-5 working days or 12-13 working days.

Yes received refund on Monday. So on 4th working days I got the refund.
 
Many people are facing problems with SBI Unipay, a bill payment portal of State Bank Of India.

The Problem:
1. Few customers paid their credit card bills via the SBI Unity portal. Payment was deducted from their bank account (payment was successful), but the bill payment failed. According to SBI Unipay, customers should get their refund within 3 to 4 working days, but even after 10 days, many people didn't receive their refund.
2. Such failed transactions are not showing on the Unipay portal, so customers cannot directly file complaints on the same portal (you have to select the transaction to raise a complaint).
3. The email ID mentioned on the Unipay portal is not responding to customer emails. Even after 3 or 4 follow-ups, there has been no reply, not even an automatic reply from SBI. Customers are helpless and trying to contact SBI on Twitter, but still, their issue is not getting resolved.

Surprisingly, this Unipay portal is not a startup; it is a part of State Bank of India, India's largest bank (in terms of number of total customers). Such an act is not expected from a bank like SBI.

Here is how you can contact SBI Unity to resolve your issue:
  1. Tag SBI and post your issue on X (Twitter).
  2. Email your issue to rinb.customer@sbi.co.in

Don't forget to ask for compensation as per the RBI guidelines RBI/2019-20/67 DPSS.CO.PD No.629/02.01.014/2019-20 dated September 20, 2019. You can ask for Rs. 100 per day compensation if the refund doesn't happen within 5 days after making the transaction. Here is the screenshot of the guidelines

I made a payment yesterday for HSBC card, due date today. The payment is showing as successful on Unipay portal but haven't received any SMS from HSBC neither showing up in netbanking. Typically how long does it take? How do I know if the payment was made to the card. Due date TODAY.

HSBC takes upto 1 week but payment date will be considered. In the meantime hsbc will send SMS about overdue and recovery agent etc. Just ignore those.
