While I recently seen many posts on X, for shortcuts to get Accor Platinum or Diamond status😅

But, my question is are they really make difference between revenue booking or even points booking (Accor Silver🥈)

Few useful perks, I assume are early check-in or late check-out. Or room upgrades

I have platinum. Recent visit booked base room no breakfast for 4400. I asked at front desk where they said autoupgraded to superior room. I asked do u have suite. Got suite after waiting 10 min while they asked duty manager also got welcome amenity breakfast. Suite was around 9000 base at that time. So paid 2000 pts plus some 800 bucks. Cud have got suite for 4000 points plus a bit. So I think that value will come in higher hotels lounge etc

Personally unless u travel a lot I don’t think it’s useful. Just go for the higher room variant u want with breakfast chosen and pay points

Generally what I have seen with Accor is that if you are respectful and ask kindly they will offer you a room upgrade even if you are a classic customer. Got a suite once and Superior room 3 times while being a Classic Customer.

Yes depending on the rush at the hotel and also if u can do repeat visits.. get to know the staff
